Take a break???

I been working out for about 1 1/2 years constantly (almost everyday). And i was wondering if it was OK to take 2 weeks or so off from the gym; And if i can get the muscle i lose over the 2 weeks, back.

(remember my bro got me kicked out, I need to wait to get a membership)

There is nothing wrong with taking a week or two off. I feel the extra rest helps a lot but I only took a week off. Due what you body tells you.

It can be good to take a little time off, I am assuming that youre not taking about while on a cycle. That you do not want to do.

It can help to refocus.

If you've been working out for 1 1/2yrs everyday I'd say a break might do you good! I know if I go like 6mths without a break(granted I only workout 5 days a week not everyday) then take a week or two off I actually come back feeling better and BIGGER! So yeah take some time off bro it will do you good!

I had hurt my shoulder but kept the protein intake up and its been eights weeks now with no training and i've kept almost all my gains!! RADAR

Just don't expect the world that first day you go back. It's amazing how quickly your body can get out of the rythm of working out.

Its recommended and I wouldn't be surprised if it helps your gains. From what i've read no longer than 3 weeks is recommended.

Nothing wrong with taking a break and I don't think you will lose any gains as long as you keep up a solid diet. I take 1 week off after every 12 weeks of constant training. Your body needs rest. Let me tell you though, that week off is the longest (and worst)week of my life

I have a couple of gym memberships so I can go to other gyms and not get to bored with one. I take a couple of days here and there no prob. Like M18 says keep a clean diet and you will be fine.
