Well I take SuperNutrition or some brand like that multi-vitamin/mineral that also has a bunch of herbal stuff in it which I like. I take the max dosage of 6 pills a day. A serving size is 3, but they recommend 6 for optimal energy and help in recuperation. Not sure if they just want you to use more to buy more, but I usually take ALOT of vitamins/minerals so I know I'm NEVER lacking in any of them and most are not toxic unless you get into silly stupid mega doses. It won't hurt you to take 2 and you're prolly better off taking 3 depending on how strong the formulation is. If everything is 100% to 200% more than the RDA than you're fine with 2-3. Remember, bodybuilders, strength athletes and anyone that subjects there body to higher than every day normal stress needs more of this stuff than your average sedentary joe, ya know? I also like GNC Mega Men's multi even though it is a GNC product(the only one I will buy). Also, unless you're ridiculously poor, don't be such a tight wad with your multi. Buy a good one with extra stuff like herbs an phytochemicals and stuff. But if you are concerned with the money, then go to your local grocery store and buy some Centrum and take 2-3X recommended dosage. I don't usually advise going over a manufacturers recommendations or if it will become unhealthy, but with vitamins/minerals, it's hard to take too much lol. Heck, I took a multi with 20,000 iu of vitamin A at 4X a day I think for like 5 months with no problems. That's like 80,000 iu a day lol. Not to mention I was drinking a gallon of milk a day at the time too which prolly brought my total up to 100,000+ iu a day. So you see, it's hard to over do it. IMHO, a GOOD quality multi-vitamin/mineral is the #1 priority supplement for a bodybuilder after a solid diet. Then Whey protein, creatine, L-glutamine and prohormones.
