T3 Question

It doesnt matter how you taper. There will be a rebound effect. Thats why they recommend ECA and intense cardio when you come off. To get your metabolism going again.

This all varies with how long you ran it and how much...

Is there any rebound effect or any need to be on AS (or deal with the risk of losing muscle along with fat) if you take a VERY low dose such as 6.25-12.5mcg a day?

technically there is no rebound effect as you would see when using Femera for estrogen, but when you taper down that is supposed to MINIMIZE the down reg of your thyroid levels, it really all depends on how well your body can convert that and use it really. I run my T3 cycles at no more than 100mcg and for usually 3-4 months with a 1 month break and everytime I get my thyroid tested its always a tad bit below average, but I usually get this done approx 2 weeks after stopping a 16 week cycle, so I wouldnt worry about that at all, judge how you look when you start tapering down, that will tell you everything, of course when you come off you will notice yourself not as tight or lean but once your levels return to normal as they ALWAYS will (unless you have a thyroid problem in the first place) you will see that go away....

there is typically a metabolic lag in thyroid production for up to 2 weeks before it rebounds back up dosage dependant of course.
Interestingly enough Ive actualy gone hyperthyroid after my rebound from cytomel use. Ive been off for 5 weeks now and my T3 production is 35 mcg daily and 90 mcg T4. Interesting eh?
I attribute that to a high protien diet, tyrosine, phenylalanine and coleous forskholi supplementation for 2 weeks following my T3 use.
I didnt taper off the T3 BTW, but i never have needed to go over 50 Mcg daily.
