T3 experts

Give me some opinions based on personal experience with T3. I can't stand Clen and really don't care for albuterol either but I've got a bunch of T3 that I haven't taken. Messing with you thyroid isn't the smartest thing but if it's effective and a person's careful regarding dosage and duration how bad can it be?

Currently running test en 500mg EW
Anavar 50mg ED

Kind of a vanilla cycle but I like both compounds and need to take a long break from Tren.

Hey blue...

Vanilla? That is an awesome cycle bro… probably the best combo of all time.

T3 is ok… If I were going to use a thyroid hormone, Id opt for T4 though as it seems to offer similar benefit in fat loss without being so catabolic to muscle tissue.

If you go with the T3 be sure to ramp the dosage, but don’t worry about ramping down. I wouldn’t be too worried about damaging your thyroid either… it will bounce back within a couple weeks once you drop the T3.

Selenium and iodine are both good thyroid sups that will help get you back online too. I think Nelson also sells a thyroid sup...

Too bad there aren't some of the old vets still around... as I recall the 'classic' t3 cycle profile was to start at 0 mcg and ramp up to prob no more than 100 mcg at increments of 12.mcg ED (1/2 your typical 25 mcg tab). Then once you reach 100 mcg or your top dose, hold there for 3 days and then ramp back down by 12.5mcg ED - hold each step down for 3 days and then drop by the next increment until you are back to zero. Should take around 5 weeks.

As mentioned above - good thyroid support can't hurt - you can find some OTC thyroid supports that include iodine (also found in kelp) and also L-tyrosine.

You might experience some lethargy at the higher doses but don't just drop it because your thyroid needs to adjust its way back to normal. Most just plan ahead to possibly experience that adjust your day's demands to meet what you can do instead of wondering why you are dragging ass & trying to push it.

And your AAS cycle will protect your muscle from catabolism.

Not sure if I should get involved in this subject at this board, but here we go personal experence and blood work shows that you can ramp up to 1mcg per body weight in "pounds" no need to ramp down I have done this many time and it takes about 2 to 3 week for my system to kick back in. You say I am some sort of super human I say no i'm not, take my wife for instance same results. All the talk about thyroid shuting down is just that TALK. I am not saying this for everyone, but for majority......(just my 2 cents worth) I want medical proof that it will shut thyroid down completely in a "healthy" human no other underlying conditions! To end with about the T-4 comment it just takes enzymes in the deiodinase group D1 and D2 to convert to T-3 same end results and far as muscle catabolism. I am not flaming anyone just stateing how I see it!

how about results? Did you find that the effectiveness was slight or significant?

As a person in the medical field i would reccomend staying off the T3. Ive seen to many people who cant produce their own anymore. NOt fun times.

I agree 100%

I agree - ultimately you are self-medicating w/ thyroid medication and thyroid is one of those things that more isn't better - you want to get your thyroid production to an optimal point - but how can you know how 'optimal' your thyroid is as a baseline in order to even make a remotely educated guess as to 'how much" is enough.

I took the route of regurgitating someone else's stuff - couldn't even tell you what that is all based on but its been the "typical" cycle used by a bunch of people over the years - first time I saw it laid out like that was circa 2000. So perpetuating hear-say - could be. The intelligent route would be to not use it or go get doc-based guidance on it. Anecdotally I've heard different things from different people who used it w/ medical supervision so honestly I"m not sure you'll get the same response even from the medical field other than just don't mess w/ it and let your diet do the work instead.

Generally speaking it doesn't hurt to have that regular physical and get a full screening of everything just for the sake of 'maintenance' esp if you are / have been cycling for a while.

the general rule is no more than 100 mcg a day, ramping it up for sure, I would still ramp it back down, and no longer than 6 weeks
