I cant post. Ive only used B-D.

I like them plenty though. They are the most popular brand so somebody likes them. Maybe they are cheap is all. I like mine just fine. 27-1.5's

When it comes to needle quality there is no real comparison.

Monoject is second to none.

Most guys don’t get to use monoject needles because they cost twice as much as BD.

I doubt you can find terumo in an American hospital or clinic for anything other than cadaver work.

Syringes, both BD and Monoject are excellent, although Monject is packaged sterile, not that this is a sterile procedure, and they come in a 6cc, size

Since we're on a similar subject...Do any of you know if I can purchase Syringes/Needles from a pharmacy in California w/o a prescription?

I'm looking at website that sells medical supplys for a box of 100 Monoject syringe/needle combo 3cc 23x1" is 9.90 the company is located in Oregon.

This is the first I have seen anybody other than a Monject rep say anything that complimentary about them. In fact, there are some hospitals that refuse to carry monoject not because of price but of quality.

As for sharpness, nothing beats the Terumo's right now. Price does not always tell the whole story.

I think BDs are pretty comparable to the Terumo's, but when you use the higher gauges like the 25g, the Terumo ultra-thin walls help tremendously.

Oh, and I cannot vote.

I am definately surprised at these results. There was a thread like this about a month ago and everyone was bashing B&D for their unsterility. I think it was conan69 that said he found a B&D syringe that had dirt on the inside of it! Someone else that worked in a medical lab said that they weren't even allowed to order or use B&D because they had the most sterility problems. If I can remember correctly, someone had a B&D syringe that had the cc labeling totally off center on the syringe. It started at 1/2cc or something like that. Huh! I have only used terumo and have had no probs at all. This is definately a debatable topic.

I've always used Terumo. But I'm going to a new source for this now, and they're giving me the choice between LL and LS... what does this mean?

Anyone?

I've noticed that B&D ink will wipe off of the sryinge. The termo don't.
I can't say one way or the other. I do like the way termo's are packed. But that doesn't matter.

Terumo are the best bar none.
Sharpest needle, ultra thin walls for better flow and probably the best quality as far as sterility goes.

There is definitely a BIG difference in sharpness between the B-D's and the Terumo's. My four fellow gear heads and me all agree that Terumo is much sharper and, overall, a much higher quality pin.

The best ones were stolen from my doctors office. I don't know what kind they were. Pre-assembled you just twist off a cap, enclosed in a plastic container. Much higher quality then B-D or Terumo.

Luer Lock and Luer Slip. You want the Luer Lock. The lock has threads and you twist the needle and syringe together. With the slip, you just slip the needle on the syringe.

Obviously if you put too much pressure on the LS, then you will separate the syringe from the needle with less than stellar results.

Terumo is all I have used. They work very well. Very sharp as long as you don't scrape the tip taking off the cap. They do go in niceley. :)

I like the turemo Luer Lock, but you have to make sure to give the pin a little twist to make sure its snug prior to use, no biggie.

Bd, or terumo.... 22x1 to draw, 25x1 to pin... no pain at all... for slin peptides or hgh, 29x.5... I prefer the bd 3ml... super smooth and pushes quicker than terumo...
