Syria and Iran WMD accident

This is major egg on the face of those who are not taking that nut job in Iran seriously. It also shows just how dangerous Syria is and that they are not to be trusted in their actions in the middle east.

Iraq has been a proxy war between the US and Iran/Syria for quite some time, and this sheds light on what they have really been up to.

Hmm--you missed the bigger point. They are developing these WMD's with the intent to either use them or to threaten to use them.

Also, taking out chemical war heads is a different game than taking out non-nuke warheads. Take out the rocket and the chemical war head debris from the head goes where? and falls on ?? contaminates who's water supply?

This is not the same thing as taking out Sadams scuds from years ago

Also the patriot and other missle defense systems were far far far from perfect in taking out scuds.

Patriot software was updated 20 years ago during the first iraq invasion.
Also in terms of accuracy scuds were definitely accurate at hitting targets

I didn't address the chemical weapons because it's understood that countries use them and have used them against us in the past. What's new there??

I agree with you that these guys will pursue any technology which will make them a superpower or they will use any technology to scare the US/UK

But we also have cruise missle and aircraft carriers. We also have the best Air force in the world.
I'm sure the Air Force and Navy can take out much of those targets before they are fired at friendly's

I agree it's an issue , but the issue you are pointing out should not be new or surprising at all.
If this is surprising , then we're in trouble
