Synthroid = T-4?

To all,

My local guy is giving me some T-4, but when I saw the bottle it said Synthroid, is this legit or what? He has it in many dosages, from .1 mg tabs to .025 mg tabs.. Thanks all!!!

Synthroid??? I think my mom takes that shit..is that the same thing as T4, dont really pay much attention to that kind of stuff since im always trying to gain but would also like to know

T4=Synthroid

T4 is manufactured by many companies throughout the world under different brand names (Synthroid, Euthyrox, Eferox, Eltroxin, Levothroid Thyrax, etc), it is all the same chemical - T4. In other words, Synthroid = T4.

This should be a safe buy in the US.

T4 isn't very useful unless you have a medical condition that requires it as a treatment... T3 would be a better choice. Trust me, I asked a while back... my buddy is on Synthroid (T4) and I thought I'd hit a gold mine, but after talking to a few of the more knowledgeable folks around here, I realized it wasn't all that great :)

Nope... clen is completely different. Clenbuterol is a beta-2-adrenergic agonist... more simply put, it's really used for treatment of asthma. More importantly for you, however, it also functions as a thermogenic compound allowing for an increased metabolism.

T3 (Cytomel) / T4 (Synthroid) - Both are synthetic versions of naturally occuring thyroid hormones. Hypothyroidism requires thyroid hormone replacement therapy. T3 is the 'active' hormone, whereas T4 can be converted by the body to T3. This is why most doctors prescribe T4 (Synthroid) to hypothroid patients... they believe the body will convert the T4 as needed. However, in your case, in order to bump up your thyroid hormone, you will need T3 to actually increase the levels as you are not in a T3 defecit. Careful though, prolonged use of T3 can cause your thryoid to slow down its normal production. Do a search on T3/Cytomel. TONS of info :)
