Swwet N' Low/ I Can't Believe It's Not Butter

I use alot of sweet and low and ICBNB Spray everyday. Does anyone know if these two things could hinder weight loss even though they are suppose to be calorie free?

Check the serving size. Is that the amount you're using? Manufacturers make the servings tiny on purpose to make you think you're getting a calorie-free food, when in fact (IIRC) if a "serving" has 5 calories or less, they can round it down to zero. Either way, neither of these has a place in a clean diet. You may as well eat dirt.

Yea, I would drop sugar substitues and especially the fake butter. You could try using some equal as your sugar sub..or just ween yourself off all that stuff.

Splenda is made from sugar- use that- aspartame and nutrasweet are bad for you in excess. Splenda also tastes like sugar not chemicals. ICBINB spray is fine.

DO NOT USE I CANNOT BELIVE ITS NOT BUTTER. this shit is very bad for you its all hydrogenated fats=very f'n bad. just use regular butter

Although Splenda's basic composition is the same as tht of sucrose, it still undergos chlorination...so...it isn't all the way 'natural'.

Both Splenda and Equal are fine and will not pose any health problems. Maybe a mixture of the two will get you your desired taste.

I'm still awaiting the next generation of sweeteners like the aspartame based derivitives such as alitame and neotame. Neotame is 12-17,000 times sweeter than sucrose. Should be interesting to say the least.

The spray is zero calories all the way across the board, and that's for five sprays, which is about reasonable. It definitely has a great taste, especially when combined with molly mcbutter. And even if it has just under five calories, big deal. You won't get fat off of <5 calories.

Huh... ...mine is fat free/calorie free? No trans fat. Shit taste pretty close to butter too.

Sweet n'Low is fine if you can handle the taste. Splenda is okay in small quantities (like for making homemade sugar-free popsicles). I would avoid aspartame products until they can be determined as safe through independant testing. I don't know that I'd buy into ALL of the hype, but for now I'd at least go easy and use only small quantities. Use butter instead of the margarine or other substitutes. At least real butter has small amounts of CLA and other things that are of at least potential benefit.

You're right, he's wrong. He must think it's just regular margarine, which it is not. It's fine in moderation if it's in line with your diet goals. And yes, it tastes amazingly like butter. Actually a little more buttery than real butter :D
