swollen injection spot

Injected 300 mg of test on my left quad and 8 hours later that area is swollen up and hot and also is getting very red is this supposed to be normal? I'm kind of worried because this is my first cycle of injectables, thank you.

could be a bad reaction or tissue irritation

Sounds like you had a bad injection.

As long as a rash doesn't develop on the injection site or you don't develop a fever - then it was just a bad injection and you have nothing to worry about.

If a rash develops on the injection site or you develop a fever - go to the hospital immediately because you have an infection.

Don't use that injection site again for the rest of your cycle.

Sounds like a poor injection or dirty gear. You could also be reacting to the carrier oil. I would try pinning glutes anyways with your first cycle. Quads can be tricky and painful for some.
