Swithching to shorter cycles...

I have been doing CYP @ 250mg and Deca at 200mg EW and am currently on week 9. Personally, I noticed that my gains were very dramatic until about the end of week 5 and then came to a complete hault. I know this sounds wierd since the compunds I am using are long acting esters but it is the truth.

I have tried increasing calories but the gains are in no way like they were in the begining. I am gonna stick this one out for the 12 weeks I planed on from the begining but have increased the doses to CYP 400mg EW and Deca 300mg EW for the last 4 weeks. I just think that in the future my cycles will be between 6-8 weeks so that I can kinda get in, make the gains, and get out. It just kinda feels like I have been dragging the cycle out after week 6.

Any suggestions????

i been saying this forever.
the mass for most people always seem to come in the first 3-5 weeks, maybe 6 max. especially if you have a fast acting compound(tren, prop), its not unusual to see 10 lbs in 3 weeks.

do a 4-5 weeker of test prop and tren

That definately seemed to be the case with my cycle. Weeks 3, 4, and 5 were just amazing. After week 6 and all the way to week 9 where I am at now, things have just sucked....

By the way calveless are you cuban?

Eat more, train harder. Considering you're using long acting esters, you should have even felt it kick in until about week 3. And if you stopped gaining after weeks 6, that means you only had 3 weeks of gains? I think not. Either you're doing something wrong, ie. diet and or training and or rest, or your gear isn't what you think it is. Up your calories again.. you've grown since you started and you need to feed the increase in muscle mass with an increase in calories. If you pyramid your calories with your increase in weight, you should continue to grow until late in the cycle.

yeah, i've noticed the same thing. my first cycle i stopped after 6 weeks after having planned to go 10. i just wasn't gaining anymore and i didn't feel good.

the naysayers to short cycles will say that you need the extra time "on" for your body to adapt to the extra weight so your gains will be more permanent. seems to me that the longer you're on, the harder recovery will be and therefore more difficult to maintain weight. i think a lot of guys look for excuses to stay on longer than they should or than is healthy.

having said that i just started one that i plan to run for 8 weeks. we'll see how it goes. my last 3-week cycle was great.

All my cycles looked identical to yours, and they were done with a doctor. My 1st one was 10 weeks the second was 12 weeks. My experience is just what you stated no gains after week 5-6. I shortened my cycles to 8 weeks which disapointed the doc.

Laser, my cycle is through a doctor as well. He was the one that told me to go 12 weeks but I just dont see the point of going that long. Yes, there have been gains in week 7,8, and 9 but nothing like weeks 3,4,5, and 6. Personally, I would rather take advantage of that high peak in gains early in the cycle and then bail out before I make recovery even harder by staying on longer. its not worth it to me to stay on an extra 6 weeks to gain 2lbs where the first 6 weeks, I gained about 12 lbs and even decreased BF. Strength increases also stopped considerably after week 5/6.

calveless, i was born in the US but my parents are cuban....

Your steroid receptors are saturated after about 4-5 weeks thus your gains will slow down or stop there is no need to do longer than six weeks this was told to me by a well respected old time pro. Short cycles are the way to go my friends

This whole idea of time to "kick in" ic complete BS.

Your blood levels go through the roof within hours if injecting ANY long acting ester. Within your first week, especially if you are taking orals, your blood levels are high enough to start promoting growth and protein synthesis and nitrogen retention are also going through the roof.

The only reason people keep perpetuating this whole bogus concept, is that the falsley believe that as soon as they make the first injection, that their body is supposed to instantly grow pounds and pounds of muscle.

I think that the only thing people can really "feel" which may leet them to think there is a "kick in " point is the increased numkber of red blood cells and increased amount of blood volume in their bodies, ie the famoud d-bol pup.

If you chart your blood pressure every day after you start, you will see it slowly go up and peak within about 2-3 weeks.

It is the increased blood pressure that people are actually feeling, NOT the actual effects of the steroids "kicking in"

In all actuality, steroids "kick in" the moment you put them into your body!

There is just no such thing.
