Swithching to shorter cycles...

AleaveR said:
Laser, my cycle is through a doctor as well. He was the one that told me to go 12 weeks but I just dont see the point of going that long. Yes, there have been gains in week 7,8, and 9 but nothing like weeks 3,4,5, and 6. Personally, I would rather take advantage of that high peak in gains early in the cycle and then bail out before I make recovery even harder by staying on longer. its not worth it to me to stay on an extra 6 weeks to gain 2lbs where the first 6 weeks, I gained about 12 lbs and even decreased BF. Strength increases also stopped considerably after week 5/6.

calveless, i was born in the US but my parents are cuban....

Agreed, 5-6 weeks seems perfect. My doctor is all about the money and if he had his way I would be on other programs as well.

On the other side of this conversation is the concept that you can't solidify the gains with that short of duration. Myself personally,I notice losing 50% of my gains either way. My natural test is pretty low and maybe that has something to do with it.

Were your strength gains just in the first 4-5 weeks or are you just refering to weight gain? Most of those amazing week over week gains durring the first few weeks is just water retention. Once blood levels even out, so do the water gains. Even when using anti-e's.

I want to say they went hand and hand.

I think people who lose alot of size post cycle simply juiced too early. They aren't able to train at a suitable intensity to maintain their muscle.

am i missing something here or what?you guys are talking about your doctor doing your cycles for you...if there is a way to get steroids that way please someone fill me in...the only way i thought doctor could give you them was if you had hiv?excuse my ignorance but im lost...but if you guys just mean a shady doctor then nevermind my question...i was thinking you ment legally..thanks

I actually did blood work before cycling and my natural test was ~270, so I too have very low natural test. The shitty part about me having this really low test is that I am only 22. I have talked to my doctor and he thinks that after my cycle, I should go on androgel to prevent crashing from such high levels to zero. Then, at a later time, try to transition with HCG and clomid out of androgel to see if I can get my natural test back up before I cycle again....

well I noticed wieght gains starting at the end of week 1. I presume this was water weight but I was also taking arimidex at 0.5mg EOD to keep water retention to a minimum. I didnt notice strength gains until week 3 and once they started, they were very dramatic. From week 3-6 I added about 55lbs to my bench but after week 5/6 the gains came to a very abrupt hault and REALLY slowed down...
