Switching 2 exercises weekly

What do you all think of that? For example alternating weeks with front squats and back squats, dips and close-grip bench, deadlifts & power cleans, etc.

I think it works good especially when trying to recover from a heavy session. But some people might say you need to keep with the same exercise and get past neural adaptations to make the real strength gains. You can't do that as efficiently if you're alternating.
 
I feel you'll make the neural adaptions if the muscle is being worked under a heavy load - period. Changing the angle will just keep it fresh. If you feel you need to do that, or want to give it a shot, go ahead. It shouldn't hurt you any. If you're skeptical, keep the exercises for 2-week intervals instead. Or, do them in training cycles like DC has his desciples do.
