Sweet Tooth!

I love anything sweet, especially chocolate. I try not to buy sweet things so that I won't have them to eat. This method works pretty well. I currently have nothing sweet to eat in my house; however, I still crave it. Don't get me wrong, I don't eat sweets at every meal. I hardly eat candy bars. I just like to have something small once a day. In the past, I have tried to stop eating sweets cold turkey, but then I always find a way to binge. Are there any substitutes that I can eat? I have recently tried just drinking a chocolate slim fast when I crave sweets, but it doesn't seem to totally satisfy my craving. I am on a high protein/low carb diet, and I have been working out to lose weight. I really don't want to eat sweets, but I am afraid that if I give them up, I will go crazy and feel the need to binge again. Help please!!!

yea last night was bad i was craving.... so a handful of reeses pieces it was!


i need somethin sweet once and a while i just try not make a habit out of it
 
get some low carb protein bars or carbolite chocolate bars or candies, they have a large line of low / no sugar candies.
 
I satisfy my sweet tooth by buying sugar-free, fat free instant puddings, mixing with a little less skim milk than directions call for and mixing a couple of scoops of protein powder in it. I have have had great success with this over the last several weeks while trying to lose holiday bodyfat. Also try taking Udos Choice EFAs. For some reason this product seems to cut my craving for sweets.
 
is it 5-HTP or 7-Keto for carb cravings...I forget, if you search for "Carb cravings" you can find some tips for stopping them.

I'm like that too tho :-)

eas myoplex vanilla mixed with some milk is the shit and a half!!!!

personally, a half of myoplex mixed with 12oz milk gives me about 35g protein, 30g carbs, 5g fat.

and...

it is SOOOOOOOOOOOO sweet.
 
I second the 5-HTP recommendation. The best way to deal with cravings is to not have them at all.
