sweet spot on thigh

New member
what's everyones sweet spot on the thigh, i was 2.5 weeks ed in glute, yesterday shot in the deltoid first time(and today i actually got my first nightsweat from tren), and now i want to try thigh again, last time i put it in i hit a vein, so im just asking what ppls own sweet spot is.

For me, from the seated position go about 3/4 between the knee and the hip ( away from knee, closer to hip). Now if the top of your leg is @12 o'clock go somewhere between 1 and 2 o'clock. I try to avoid any visable veins and have only hit 3 out of hundreds of shots.

there are a number of sweet spots on the quad, just feel for the soft spots when muscle is loose. Avoid the central line, main nerve branch. the closer to the knee the more careful you need to be about nerves.

I have 5 spots I can use. Picture 3 baseballs lined up across the upper thigh, with 2 more directly under them towards the knee and you get the general picture.

Use a sharp object and poke yourself in a few places until you find one that feels number than the rest. Usually upper outer quad. The key is to sit while putting your leg way out to the side and relax it when you shoot.

That's number as in digit. How do you spell more numb, number?

I actually think its spoken in a sentence as being more numb, rather than number. I go for the meatiest part of the thigh, a little to the outside. I usually poke myself with my finger pretty hard until I find the spot the feels the least tender. It's pretty common for me to hit veins/nerves in my thighs now so that blows.

A sharp object like a K-bar Knife or preferably a 25 gauge x 1 inch needle.

Another approach, that I use, is to find the sweet spot and then go exactly 180 degrees and up 10 inches and inject directly in my glute. Seems to work without paralyzation.

I don't like to use the pin because it leaves a bunch of bleeding dots on my leg.
Jees how hard to you need to poke it to find this Elusive sweet spot.

Ulter, your not recommending injection on the lateral quad, just the far extreme outside (almost lateral) quad correct.

Be careful if you are like 180 lbs so you don't hit the bone with a 1" needle to the quad.

After my hospitolization a lot of things happened in my life and I have not trained in over 2 years. I started playing around in the gym at my apartment a month ago (2 weeks into it I weighed and did a body composition test and came back 228 lbs at 17.5% bf yuck). My wife and I joined a gym yesterday and are both commited to rebuilding natural healthy physiques. I have absolutely no doubt that I can be well over 200 lbs at 10% bf or less if I apply myself, without drugs anymore. My goals these days are more towards health and looking and feeling my best than trying to be a monster.

Yeah, but I feel silly doing set of 12 with 75 lbs dumbells on flat presses right now (got to use some real weights finally yesterday). Until my strength goes up a bit more I probably will not start posting my training journal up. Since there is no juiceyjuice in the mix, my numbers won't be like they used to be, but should be decent before long.

Don’t worry about the others in the gym give your self some time, depending upon your age, etc, but nothing exciting is going to happened before Christmas,

Remember if you have been out of the gym and do a cycle soon, only the muscle grows and everything else is vulnerable to injury, joints, tendons, cartilage,

So take it easy. Remember those tendon tears just don’t heal like they use to,

Your better off to go moderately the first few months and let everything grow together.

I hear you, it is up and down

Yesterday I was doing dumbbell presses with 10lbs, normally 75-85, just said forget it and did cardio,

So it comes and goes, but the good days make up for the bad.

I won't be doing another cycle bro. There is no reason I can't be bigger than most juiceheads I've know without the drugs. We are at 24 hour fitness. We can go to any of them, and there is another one about 4 miles from us that is suppost to be less fluff and have heavier weights. The nearest one only goes up to 125 dumbells, and I figure I'll be repping those for inclines within 6 months. Going with only dumbell work for upper body now other than skullcrushers, as I have never found a dumbell movement that felt like it worked my tri's properly. It is rather difficult to do heavy squats or deads with dumbells so will have to do some bar work for legs.

My bicep tear was not in the tendon, but in the muscle, and I brining up my left bicep is going to be difficult. Slowly but surely. FYI, I've never had an issue with connective tissue, but still going to work the weights up slowly and be mindfull of giving connective tissue time to strengthen.
