Sustain causing headaches?

1999TL

New member
Last Month I finished a bottle of Promagnon, a one month cycle. My friend had an extra bottle that he gave to me All the reviews that I read online were great, so I tried it. I started PCT last Saturday. I was using Gaspari Novedex and Sustain. I dropped the Novedex a few days ago because of headaches. Now, I'm only using the sustain.

My problem is that I have been getting killer exertion headaches during my workouts. I have left the gym once, and toughed it out the other times. For the last 2 days, I have been even waking up with headaches. Ibuprofen helps, but I am reluctant to take it today.

Before I even got these headaches, I was already set on trying Primobolan for my next cycle because of the minimal sides and quality gains. After these headaches, i know I will make sure to do whatever that has the least sides.

Could the Sustain be causing my headaches?

Weve had 1 or 2 reports of this, but then it was found to be something else.

What AAS are you dropping? Are you running any other drugs or supps?

I was running promagnon,an OTC steroid that was banned. I was also running gaspari Novedex(I know better now), but I dropped that a couple a days ago to see if that was causing the headaches.

I'm debating if I should drop the sustain now, but I'm only 8 days into it.

I thought it might be my blood pressure, but it was 113/59. I checked it twice and it wasaround the same the next time..

Black coffee pre-workout as well. One day, I drank the coffee and I could kind of feel the exertion headache creeping up. Then I worked out and it was all over. AFter that I haven't been taking coffee. I've dropped everything except the sustain.

I'm not sure if it is b/c i'm coming off of something, or it is the sustain now. I've read that ppl have headaches when they go on PCT.

are they in the back of ur head? when i started pct this time i was getting wired headaches for like 2 weeks. i get like one a week now. im not sure why but i thought it was my allergies. maybe it is the sustain? i took unleashed and postcycle too and recover was a breeze. makes me think...

The headaches are getting under control now. Today is the first day that I was able to work out hard again with little rest in b/w sets. It finally felt good to be back in the gym. I think for the past week and a half I was torturing myself, so I took 4 days off, until yesterday.

Now, my problem is that I'm not exactly sure that it was the sustain that was causing my headache. The headache did start right after I started the sustain, but it could have possibly just been my body adapting to coming off the Promagnon?

My question is, would it be all right to start the sustain again to see if that was causing my headache? I think I'm recovered pretty well(was only a 1 month PH cycle) b/c I get morning wood every morning. Or, should I just leave it alone and figure it was the sustain that was causing my headache. I just want to pinpoint the problem, b/c I would like to use unleashed, post cycle, AND sustain for my PCT. However, if the sustain was causing my headache, I could cut that out I suppose.

Note: Right when I started the sustain, I started breaking out. Then my face cleared up. Once I got off the sustain, I started breaking out again (lil bumps that looks like rashes). Now my face is clearing up, and the headache is subsiding.

caffeine causes a biological stimulation that increases the blood flow to the brain. Hence the blood sugar level available in the brain also increases correspondingly.Combined with a heavy work out which will cause a temporary increase
in blood presser it can cause an overload of blood volume and presser in the brain resulting what is known as a caffeine headache. This may have been the causeof your headache in the first place.

Now that you have stopped the use of caffeine in your works outs you were faced with another problem.

caffeine is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant. caffeine readily crosses the blood brain barrier and causes up regulation of adenosine. Because adenosine, in part, serves to regulate blood pressure by causing vasodilation, the increased effects of adenosine due to caffeine withdrawal cause the blood vessels of the head to dilate, leading to an excess of blood in the head and causing a headache. This can be magnified b your work outs.

In short just stay away from the caffeine for a few weeks its not for you. See if this works.

Interesting. So if it was the caffeine, you think I should give the sustain a go again?
Yes please do. If the headaches returns (and you have been well of the caffeine) please let me know. I think you would be the first case but still always good to keep a mental log of it. So I can advice others latter on.

If it is in fact the sustain then I would think nero-steroidal effects are the culprits and I would like to look into why. I doubt it though.

You could just have an underlining problem. :)

Caffeine sounds like a real good possiblity, and I hope it was the cause so that I can use sustain in future PCT's. I have been studying for the DAT so I was drinking a few cups of coffee a day to stay up(organic chem and biochem actually come in handy to understand all this AAS stuff).

I'll try the sustain again tomorrow and Ill report back.

Well, it must not be the caffeine, or the sustain, because I'm still getting the headaches.. I had been taking 600 mgs of Ibuprofen an hour beforehand, and it really helped. The first couple of sets I would feel the pain coming, but then it would subside.

Last night, I tried to workout without the ibuprofen and I was in pain. I had to take some after the workout b/c of the throbbing. Thinking about taking 2 weeks off b/c I've read that people have had success when doing that from my searches on here. I just dont want to lose my gains.
