Suspening

ok I got all my shit ready to suspend var in 151. I am going to be using a 15mg/ml concentration. I just wanna make sure I have the right calculations.

I am using:

2g of var

So therefore:

I will need 131ml of solution?

I am going to put the powder in a glass container and then measure out the 151 and put that in this container. Then I am going fill a pan with water and stick this glass container with the var and 151, into the pan and heat the water until the var disolves and becomes suspended.

Is this correct? Do I need to put a cap on the glass container while I am doing this? About how long does it take to dislove?

Oh well I went ahead and just did one gram for now in 65.5 ml. Unfortunately the damn jar cracked. I salvaged 99% of the solution luckily but I don;t know if its actually suspended because it seems theres powder thats crystalized on the edge of the glass I have the solution in.

Also I can still tel the powders in the solution it just kind of uniform, but its not completely clear. Do I need to reheat it more? Do you usually let it come to a boil? How long do you usually wait once its boiing.
