I just recently moved to the Gold Coast area of Chicago... it seems that to be considered cool here you have to eat (and like) sushi! The thought of raw fish is kind of disgusting to me, but everyone says it's great... I'm willing to give it a try BUT FIRST I have to ask my Elite bros about it's nutritional value. Good source of protein? Fat? Anybody incorporate sushi into their diets? Thanks!

I eat sashimi all the time... same thing just no rice...

the white rice can be a killer sometimes... but the fish
can be great.. tuna salmon... very high in protein

YES!!!! many choices tuna, salmon & all shellfish :p you get the picture
when I'm really dieting no rolls for me just sashimi

lesson this is VERY basic...

sashimi = fish only

sushi = fish + rice

*not all the fish is raw* ...go enjoy have fun ;)

It's all good to me anyhow! love the stuff. A feed can end up costing a bit, so I just go to snack, once a day ! Hehehe........

Well, there's the verdict :)... I'll definitely give that sashimi stuff a try this weekend! Thanks.

I didn't know about the fat either :( but as far as a snack goes it's not too bad because the fat will satiate you, the protein is high, carbs are mid range and it has fiber! Not for every day but once in a while seems ok. :)

*waiting for DDC to tell me it will kill me*
