Supps 4 me ??

Just wondering if this is something that i should consider in my battle of the bulge.
Would this be a good addition to my plan of clean eating, and exercise of course! (this past weekend excluded ;) )
I've read alot about a lot of people on here taking them.
:)

Go to the AF store and take a look. There are descriptions of the supps to help you. If you're not taking a good multi, start there. I've used Sesapure (still do) & YES. I've considered Glucorel too.

www.anafit.com

Do a little research on Cytomel and Clenbuterol,The 2 used together are great for burning fat, but again look these up on the internet and make sure your thyroid is normal. I personally would like to know what OTC appetite suppressents you would recommend.

I have no other recommendations other than af store products (see my log as to why), but that doesn’t mean they’re aren’t other opinions out there. (beverly too)

Ever so briefly…
& NOT that you have to get All of them..

Thermorexin is great for fat loss & contains an appetite suppressant.

Cardio Breeze is good for that AM cardio *boost* & also a great fat burner, just not as potent as T-Rex.

With overeating Sesapure is recommended, but also has other benefits than 'wasting excess calories’... One cap 2-3 X a day if fine for a regular diet.

Glucorell is a fantastic supplement period. It helps your body use the carbs more efficiently & great for cheat meals.

Yohimburn is fantastic. Opt for the ES. I have yet to read a bad review & someone who thinks this does NOT work. I think this will work fabulously with your trouble areas, in addition to your diet, and I honestly don’t think anyone who has tried it (& used properly as directed) will disagree.

The use of supplements depends on your goals and how much money you have really. They can help speed up the process to an already established diet & training program.

My first purchase was the UFR Kit (Glucorell, YES & T-Rex I think). Cardio Breeze & Sesapure weren't out yet :)

I absolutely do NOT recommend clen for you based on your goals AT ALL.

My $0.02:

Glucorell-R is awesome before carb meals - reduces that bloat we talked about yesterday.

I have started to take Sesamax again and seems to be helping with fat loss.

I also take a multivit, flax, zinc, magnesium and glucosamine.

I took clen for 3 days about 5 years ago. It is evil sh!t. I had sweats, paranoia and "squeaky" joints. I'm not a fan of thermogenics, period, they make me feel nauseous and when I'm serious about my diet/exercise I don't need them anyway.

The best supplements: information, consistency and EF Ladies board!!

I just ordered some of the products that bunny and yourself have mentioned but I agree that cytomel will make you sweat but I lost body fat while retaining muscle. Certain supplements aren't for everyone Coming from Pro Muscle forum they really recommend clen and T3 together. I was also their March featured member so I was quite honored by that. I'm here now because there are more active female members and I want to share and gain knowledge from women such as yourself. I'm into fitness not BBing.

i don't really know what clen and t3 are.
I don't want to take anything that could even be slightly dangerous.
I am interested in the t-rex, glucorell and definitely the sesapure. That last one sounds awesome. But I don't understand how it works.

Sesapure works basically by binding to receptors in your body called PPARalpha. Sounds complicated, and it is, but in the most basic terms the lignans (sesamin/episesamin) activate these receptors which causes a shift in the ways that your cells metabolism works. Basically shifting the cells toward using fuel at an accellerated rate and using stored bodyfat more efficiently for fuel. Its kind of ironic because it makes your cells/body both less efficient (using more fuel at an accellerated rate) and more efficient (better fuel "access" and shuttling of the fuel for usage).

this shifting of cell metabolism has other effects, for example in the liver it increases production of the enzyme aldehyde dehydrogenase which breaks down the toxic metabolites of alcohol. Reducing the toxic effects of drinking (most people report significant effects)

Do yourself a favor and don't even bother with Clen. It's junk, it will make your heart race, give you uncontrollable shakes, possible headaches, leg cramps and it can also stiffen the sack around your heart. It's also a waste of time if your bodyfat is not in the teens.

You would be better off with Cardio Breeze or T-Rex from the AF store, or if you want something stronger, the ECA stack. If you don't know what the ECA stack is - start with Cardio Breeze and T-Rex and see how you do with them. :)

They are not dangerous when used correctly. They are used by many people who are looking to get lean quick. Most fitness and BBers use them before competitions. I know they work because I have taken; I had my blood work tested first to make sure my thyroid was normal before I began a cycle with them. I did my research and asked many questions but you can do as you please.

We're anti-Clen around here. Especially since the "mainstreem" thinks it's a miracle pill. There is no such thing. Unless you're below mid-teens in bf and pre-comp (and even then it's questionable), there are no benefits to Clen. A clean diet and strong training schedule will get more results.

Not saying that YOU didn't get results from it, but what were your stats, diet and training at the time?

My diet is clean, I focus on a high protein diet and try to eliminate carbs during the week. I then carb load on the weekends. I am 5' 108 and about 12% BF. I was in the best shape in Oct/Nov then I found out I was pregnant. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks. I had gained 10 pounds during that time and was devastated by the loss of my child. I had a planned vacation in two weeksfrom the time I miscarried and I had to loose the weight quick, I am also 41 yrs old. Many of my male BBer friends from pro muscle told me to try the two and it worked for me. I lost the body fat while retaining muscle. I did sweat alot but it was worth it. I also trained like crazy. I was nominated and won march's feature member for professional Muscle so I doing something right!

I'm so sorry about your miscarriage!!!

The problem we run into here is that ladies come in with no clean diet, no training program and want that "overnight" cure (not saying getnfit is this person). We always like to know their stats first, and if they're newbies, Clen isn't the place for them to start.

Hell, I'd been training for 13 years when I came to this board and I thought I knew "most" everything. I was wrong! The minute I started on the clean diet, the water and fat fell off. I was 11.84% when I started my bulking cycle a couple of months ago, and I'm now 14% and just started cutting again. Diet and training are where it's at for the newbie. I just wouldn't want anyone using anything but those two things as a crutch to begin with. After they do "their own" research and have been training for a while, maybe they might decide to go in a different direction.

It's all about learning how to control your body with diet and training FIRST.

How long have you been training?

I agree 100% that anyone who is just starting out should get their diet in check first. To lose weight you must cut back on the amount of calories you comsume while eating smaller healthier meals during the day. I was always natural and never did any gear. I worked my but off and it showed. I measured everything I ate and kept a diary. I varied my caloric intake from 1200 to 1500 calories to shock my system. I also train hard between 4-5 times per week.

I would like to see that i'm getting somewhere. My diet now is EXTREMELy improved to what it was previously, plus i'm working out now, where as I wasn't doing anything before.
It is frustrating to not see or feel any difference and the scale go up :worried:
Maybe my age makes things a little harder  in almost 38. The old metabolism is slowed or something???

Let's go look at your log!....

Okay, so if I can only afford to get one supplement right now which one would be most beneficial to the goals i have right now. Which are ... dumping a lot of body fat.
I would love opinions from everyone! :)

Keep in mind that if your losing fat and gaining muscle the scale may not change that much, it may even go up. Muscle weighs more than fat. How are your clothes fitting now? Keep up the good work, you have a great team behind you. After listening to the other womens recommendation for fat burners, I have ordered a few of them, Thermorexin, Sesapure and Cardio Breeze. I will see what works best for me but the other ladies on this board will guide you in the right direction.

Have you ever taken fatburners before? May help in the decision here...

I did a few years ago..some dexatrim or something. The active ingrediant was ephedrine alkaloids i think.
Didn't bother me at all. Made me pretty active :qt:

It's a matter of budget and what you want from a supp. The Ultimate Fat Removal Kit either with Trex or Cardio Breeze is the best combo if you want lots of energy while you lose weight. If you don't want stims, then Sesapure Glucorell is a great combo. IF you have the budget and you're in a hurry to speed up the fat loss then the UFR Kit and SesaPure is the total package.

Do you remember my first purchase? It was UFR with Trex?

I have a decent amount of energy. I would really like something that will burn fat and speed up my metabolism. A fat :chomp: muncher...so to speak! :)

what does the glucorell do? How is it different than just plain ALA?
I seen that at gnc the other day, but didn't get any cuz i didn't know if it would benefit me.
High blood sugar and diabetes runs in my family just FYI!
