Supplements for acid reflux

Is there a supplement I can use that can help me with acid reflux. Whenever I drink a protein shake I start getting acid reflux 30 minutes later. The problem is I don't want to stop drinking the shakes so is there a supplement that I can take that will offset anything that the shakes are doing for me

rather then taking something, what you need to do to cure acid reflux is 3 simple things

1. keep a flat stomach year round
2. learn about fasting protocols
3. stay away from high FODMAP foods or foods that cause the issue

You might be having issues with flavoring etc. Try unflavored.

Take 1 tea sp. of baking soda with 8oz of water and acid reflex should subside within few minutes

I actually would get rid of the protein shakes man. They are doing more harm than good. As for a supplement, you can simply start taking apple cider vinegar.

I have chronic acid reflux. Alkaline drops and baking soda in seltzer works, but it's temporary. Alka Setzer GUM is good to keep on you for emergencies. Capsecum helps heal it. CapsiMax. Other than that, there's nasty drugs. They work, but have bad sides.
