Supplement suggestions?

What vitamins etc should I be taking?

Right now I am taking OMEGA 369 1x3 a day and on cheat days I take I white kidney bean extract to block carbs. Any other suggestion for calcium or multi vitamin?

Multi vitamins: take prenatals. The aborption rate is much better.


Calcium: do not take it with any other vitamins. It blocks the aborption of other vitamins/minerals.

I might also suggest a magnesium and zinc combo.

I thought Calcium only blocked Iron absorption. I think Calcium, Zinc and Magnesium work together to get absorbed...but I could be wrong....

That came from Spatts, Kel, and one other vet (cant remember who) when this question came up about 2 months ago. It does interfere with the aborption of many if not most vitamins. My post was badly written if it looked like I was including mag and zinc in that.

think about ala to aid in the shuttling of the carbs rather than "blocking" them
 
Currently I'm taking:

Multi Vitamin
Glucorell-R
Optimum 100% Whey Protein
Glucosamine/Chondroitin (for knee joint problems)
ZMA
Melatonin (for sleep). I take the ZMA and melatonin together at night before bed.
Vitamin C
Thermorexin

I would definitely suggest adding some type of Whey protein to your diet. Optimum chocolate tastes really good and is fairly inexpensive.

ISS chocolate whey protien powder is the other one I use

You should also be taking fish oil. It is good for SO many reasons. I take Fisol brand because it doesn't give nasty fish burps like others do.
