Supplement for a hardgainer?

What supplement would you suggest for a hard gainer? My diet hasn't been the best but its comming around. I'm getting close to 160 170 grams of protein a day. I'm 5'8, 140. I'm looking to put on some mass and its going really slow. I'm not taking anything as of now. I have been on protein shakes before but never really found any that seemed to help alot.

Have you tried a gainer like N-Large? HDT has a qaulity gainer out as well called Mass Gains or something?

that will help out for sure, but i think the better question is what does your diet consist of, i.e. protein, carbs, fat, timing, post workout, etc., and what type of training and frequency are you using? That might be some keys to your answers right there. Id be interested to hear what your answers are to see if there is any solution for you

Well I have been training mainly powerlifting style. I have started doing some BB types of lifting for my arms, shoulders, back and legs a month or 2 ago. As far as a diet, I try to get 160 to 170 grams. I'm 140 pounds. I don't keep up with the other stuff and I should be. With school like I had it it was hard, never knowing when I was going to catch a break and when I did, it was brief and I wasn't eating right but I finished my last final today so that will start changing. I have been lifting hard for a couple years. Seen alot of improvement in my chest and bench max. My arms are gaining size as well as sholders but very slowly. I have never takes anything but protein shakes. No Creatine, nothing. Thanks for the help, maybe that will help answer some quetsions you have about me and what I need.

I'm a hardgainer and have been eating lots of real food and gained 20lbs so far on my bulking here. Go to costco or BJ's and get like a 16 pack of chicken breasts and like burger patties and chow down. Don't forget to add complex carbs.
