Suggestions for a 4-day split

mrt

New member
I was planning,

Mon: Chest, Tris
Tue: Legs

Thu: Back, Bi's
Fri: Shoulder, Abs, Forearms

Arms are a lacking body part, should I go with a separate Arms day? Or is the above OK?

Any other suggestions?

try arm priority training:

M. Chest/light tris
T.Back/light bis
W.REST
T.Shoulders/legs
F.Arms
S.REST
Su.REST

OR if you find gains are slow try a low volume arms priority workout from BEYOND BRAWN:

Monday

A.seated bb curl
B Close grip bench
c.seated db curls
D.dips

Thursday
A.Squat
B.SL Deadlift
C.calf work
D.ab work

However,if your arms are under 15 inches i wouldn't even bother training them directly yet bro

Id definately go with a seperate arm day. That way you can focus solely on your arms once a week. This has been working really well for me. Also, my arms are over 15 (just under 18 cold) and Ive always done direct work. Just be sure to train arms on a day that doesnt interfere with your back or chest work. Sore triceps before a chest day is never good. Ive been training my arms on friday. Using this split:

Monday: Back and deadlifts
Tuesday: off
Wednesday: off
Thursday: Chest (flat bench only, about 11 sets)
Friday: Tri's and Bi's
Saturday: off
Sunday: Incline bench, delts, rear delts

Also I train abs for strength 3x a week. You can add legs in there also. I havent been training them at the moment. They interfere with my deadlifting. haha. Hope that helps

I agree w/WB-- separate arm day- (i put them on Fri cuase my cleans/pulls are pretty short sets)

Mon- chest/front delts
Tues- legs/glutes
Wed-Off (cardio)
Thurs- Back/rear delts
Fri- Power cleans/ Arms

Abs 3/wk.
