Sugar free Jello on a ckd.... Mr. X?

Mr. X, i have been trying to use the search function and it isnt working, but i was wondering if sugar free jello is ok, one cup has 10 calories, but i dont have any around so i dont know if is has citric acid in it or not.

P.S. Dr. DiPasquali says it is okay in anabolic diet, but he also says that you dont need to be in ketosis for the diet to work. what are your thoughts on that?

it has hidden carbs and asp. artificial sweetener, I would NOT use it....the fear of interrupting ketosis is too great

his ideas are outdated, but valid. his diet is designed for supposed muscle (bulking) gain rather then to lean up

first thing that comes into my mind is sugar free syrop by atkins, or low carb bars or no carb bars, carb free proteins....

That would be a waste of food, I'd rather you have sugar jello, that's the point of the refeed.

Yeah, but if I've already met all the carb/protein/fat requirements for my refeed day and I'm still hungry.... then it's a good filler, and even if it threw me out of ketosis it wouldn't matter since I'm already out.

I could eat 15,000 calories a day easily. I'm serious. So even when following your manual and eating my BMR+30% on my refeeds, I could still keep eating forever. But I don't want overspill or to overdo it....

.... so would it be okay?

If you close to your daily ratios, then it's fine....
