"Bros",

Sure, the strength increases are nice. The motivation to get to the gym is a bit more enticing. Seeing faster results is fun. Hitting more on squat and bench is a measurable result.

But come on. They guys on this board that respect bodybuilding and hold it dear to them also know what real bodybuilding is about. It is not about juicing. It's about a commitment you make to better your physique, and in turn, better yourself. I started bodybuilding (it was actually "just lifting weights" back then) my junior year in college. Now, 60 ALL-NATURAL pounds later (40 lbs of lean mass) I've realized that my physique development will never stop. I love bodybuilding. It's what I live for. Becoming more proportional and bigger is what i think about everyday when I'm not busy. I plan my vacations around it. I plan my weekends around it. I plan who I hang out with and who I talk to around it. I can honestly say bodybuilding got me through college with great grades and 2 degrees and made me focus on goal setting.

I began using juice about 8 months ago. I don't care if I'm on cycle or off. I am just as motivated to get my pump. That what my whole week revolves around. Getting my pump each day and feeling spent. Mentally and physically. Juice is something I am learning to use to help me achieve the goals I have for myself. That's what bodybuilding is supposed to be about.

But I join this board and hear guys talking about juice like it is what makes bodybuilding. To me, juice is about 10% of how I am going to be the best heavyweight in Colorado. It's a financial committment and that's it. The rest is all me. My heart, and my determination. I know I can't get the mass at my age without gear. I know I can't get as cut as i have to be without it. It's just a tool I am using to get me where i want to be.

But I will use this board as a tool in assistance with my goals, and learn from you more experienced guys. I will close my eyes and ears to those of you who "don't like your pump when you're not on".

Of course, this is just my opinion.

I don't post as much on this board anymore. But I must give props where they are due. Great post, and I agree 100%

Very nice post. Too many people these days see juice as an avenue to the "perfect body". A tool is all juice is; a minor tool at that. Without the elements of hard work, good eating, and proper motivation, the juice becomes merely a financial waste on a product that merely leaves scar tissue on your ass.

Great post bro. It's sad there are many on this board that don't think you can put on muscle unless you are taking gear. That's what happens when you start too early.

I agree 100%

yes i know. But I read a post yesterday where a 40-year old man wanted 20 lbs of mass from a cycle. His stats said he had a high %BF and a 37 inch waist. Guys in here were telling him that he'd get good results and should bump up his dosages. BS man! This guy is obviously out of shape and has no business even thinking about using gear! THat's what I'm talking about. The guys that talk about getting or wanting results but don't understand the basic (and complex for that matter) fundamentals and principles of nutrition and how to put on quality mass.

Great post, bro. Couldn't have said it better myself. Too many people see using juice as an autobahn to becoming like the guys they see in magazines. Truth is it's a TOOL to assist you in the pursuit of fitness goals. There are too many people who don't realize that it's hard work that gets you there. A solid balance of training, rest, and dieting plus the true discipline to sacrifice the things you enjoy for the goals that you've setis what makes results. Sauce just puts the finishing touches on.

How's that go?? Blood, sweat, steel.

Just my $ .02
