Travelling sixty miles an hour passing traffic almost to downtown since Im helping someone with their schedule and had to be out the door before I could check my email or say hello. Forgot my cellphone but I can call anyone from my laptop for 2cents a minute through yahoo. Or voice IM for free pc to pc. Next week, Ill be able to post streaming video from my camcorder in my pocket pc/pda/cellphone. THE FUTURE IS NOW!!!!
Beautiful day waiting for the sun to come up through the windows of the train Im commuting on, damn, now I just need to figure out a mobile coffee dispenser I can fill and be part of BORG half man half mobile machine thing Im working on, directly dumping caffeine into my jugular vein like ketracel white
Hope everyone has a great day!!

sweet dude

Yeah dude, its amazing, Portland has the best train system for commuting and the number one city for bicycling, you get around faster without driving. I have to setup my pda/cellphone/pocket pc. I can do this all voice activated while riding my bicycle and surf the internet and voicetext and do everything handsfree wireless. Rode my bike to the train station but in portland its aim is bike friendly so I can take my bike anywhere with the train and be surfing the internet without a laptop

I was oncall at a hospital this weekend so I was going to just kick it go to the gym and stuff b/c I have to be within a half hour of the hospital but I got called up that there was an OR case and so I switched and have eight patients across the city at another hospital so busy til later. Bro, you have got to move here

That rocks, BB. How far out of town are you? (I mean, how much time on the train, approximately?)

Im right on the trainline about five minutes walking and its a half hour to downtown and so its like I just walk for a few minutes and Im enjoying all the shops downtown like go to starbucks for coffee at Pioneer square, I work at three hospitals and several clinics depending on how Im scheduled and where so Im investing in being a mobile professional b/c the light rail system here is awesome. Literally the door opens, sit down, boot up my laptop and next thing I know Im downtown or across town or at the airport, I can bike anywhere with the light rail faster than driving and dont have to pay attention to driving, so much more relaxing. Thats why I hated Seattle b/c they dont have a transit system and traffic was everpresent, it was claustrophobic, now everyone is switching to riding the train with gas prices and stuff. Its awesome, people just park their car and step onto the train and youre anywhere you want to be in a few minutes. I get scheduled at two clinics downtown, mainly been across the river in Washington this last month and on the other side of town. http://www.trimet.org/schedule/r100.htm
Its the best city to live in I think b/c I HATE driving in traffic.

Anyhow, with all of the computer work you do you have got to get this highspeed pc card, surf the internet anywhere.
Its worth the investment, trying to find a wifi connection is too much of a pain in the ass.

Im getting my pda/cellphone/pocket pc with bluetooth and getting the voice activated software program so that when I walk in the door, my whole place turns on with the bluetooth, just say "Make coffee" and the coffee pot turns on or the tv b/c its bluetooth and infrared. Seriously, Im going to have this on my arm like my ipod and be able to control everything by voice activation. Open blinds, dim lights, preheat oven, turn on music, start itunes, play song, send text message, inflate blow up doll, etc..., I mean this is going to be sweet when I get it running, bluetooth accessories and software you can set up everything. I got a back pack with svideo out and I can store all my images and streaming video online with gprs builtin and dont have to worry about filling up the pocket pcs memory. Its amazing the stuff you can do now. Going to buy for 1800$ a projector and its screen is 23 feet, just svideo of laptop and Ill show up and watch football games mobilely with the bose sound system Im getting, like everything in a duffle bag.
Gots to get ATI man, easyshare tv, it turned my laptop into a tivo and records shows and you can burn dvds, its awesome, just svideo out and watch live tv piped through my laptop and out the projector. Imagine, you just show up with a duffle bag, give a power point presentation or show them on the projector tv what you are working, basically turns your projector into a huge computer monitor digitally.

When they have a "do workout, do cardio" option, then I'll buy one.

If you are buying all this huge electronic stuff how will you move to Australia?

Its all an investment in my career you know that and setting my network of professional contacts in the Portland area. Its about letters and connections. My licenses transfer over to the UK already, all I have to do is take australo licensing boards which will be simple and Ill start networking my contacts depending on where you start practicing law, be it UK or Sydney. People are amazed when I show them what I can do. I think Ive fooled everyone into thinking Im really smart. Thats their first mistake I tell ya.
No, told you, cant leave right away til I get my network set up in portland and the point of this stuff is being mobile, all of this stuff fits in a duffle bag. Everything is minitiarized and I can give presentations on technological ways to become more efficient with time through technology. So much waste with dictations and simply walking to places to go communicate, now, you can walk and by the time youre there, your report is dictated into the pocket pc, plus all the programs to access. Thats the real part of it, the projector is just frills, its about saving time and giving critical medical info fast. With the streaming video I can literally email a captured image so people dont have to come in from home while oncall.
Seriously, people are going to be begging me to help this save time after they see me demo the system Im putting together. They already are amazed with what I tell them I can do now, just wait til I run a powerpoint directly from my pocket pc and show them the solutions to the needs they dont even know they have yet, Ill just create the need for them so they are jealous, theyll be walking around busy as hell and in their mind theyll just keep thinking if I only had the system that he had I could go have lunch or go home early, instead Im stuck here b/c communications system is obsolete. Youll see babe
