That rocks, BB. How far out of town are you? (I mean, how much time on the train, approximately?)
Im right on the trainline about five minutes walking and its a half hour to downtown and so its like I just walk for a few minutes and Im enjoying all the shops downtown like go to starbucks for coffee at Pioneer square, I work at three hospitals and several clinics depending on how Im scheduled and where so Im investing in being a mobile professional b/c the light rail system here is awesome. Literally the door opens, sit down, boot up my laptop and next thing I know Im downtown or across town or at the airport, I can bike anywhere with the light rail faster than driving and dont have to pay attention to driving, so much more relaxing. Thats why I hated Seattle b/c they dont have a transit system and traffic was everpresent, it was claustrophobic, now everyone is switching to riding the train with gas prices and stuff. Its awesome, people just park their car and step onto the train and youre anywhere you want to be in a few minutes. I get scheduled at two clinics downtown, mainly been across the river in Washington this last month and on the other side of town.

Its the best city to live in I think b/c I HATE driving in traffic.
Anyhow, with all of the computer work you do you have got to get this highspeed pc card, surf the internet anywhere.
Its worth the investment, trying to find a wifi connection is too much of a pain in the ass.

Im getting my pda/cellphone/pocket pc with bluetooth and getting the voice activated software program so that when I walk in the door, my whole place turns on with the bluetooth, just say "Make coffee" and the coffee pot turns on or the tv b/c its bluetooth and infrared. Seriously, Im going to have this on my arm like my ipod and be able to control everything by voice activation. Open blinds, dim lights, preheat oven, turn on music, start itunes, play song, send text message, inflate blow up doll, etc..., I mean this is going to be sweet when I get it running, bluetooth accessories and software you can set up everything. I got a back pack with svideo out and I can store all my images and streaming video online with gprs builtin and dont have to worry about filling up the pocket pcs memory. Its amazing the stuff you can do now. Going to buy for 1800$ a projector and its screen is 23 feet, just svideo of laptop and Ill show up and watch football games mobilely with the bose sound system Im getting, like everything in a duffle bag.
Gots to get ATI man, easyshare tv, it turned my laptop into a tivo and records shows and you can burn dvds, its awesome, just svideo out and watch live tv piped through my laptop and out the projector. Imagine, you just show up with a duffle bag, give a power point presentation or show them on the projector tv what you are working, basically turns your projector into a huge computer monitor digitally.
