mostly girls and guys dont like me at first until they get to know me because i dont really go out of my way to bullshit or talk much just for the sake of saying stuff, and aparently i seem cold and assholeish...

by the time people get my sense of humor and grow to like me im already friend stage i guess?

sublime is the shit. first off, he's gotten girls before..one of whom a bunch of my friends thought was smokin. he'll do a lot better when he swallows his pride, gets some more confidence, and takes some legitimate shots at girls. right now he just isn't putting himself out there, and would rather be mean to girls than spit game.

Ya, you will some like a cold hearted asshole when you don't talk unless you have something interesting to say or get into the regular pissing contest with people. They don't like people that can be more mature then they are.

When people ask you "How are ya doing?" or something like that, do you just give a quick response and don't ask them? Unless it is a close friend.

if you learned to get people in rapprot quicker by being more playful/conversational with strangers, youd get oodles of women

if youre standoffish or cold int eh beginning but htey loike you later, theyre usually too comfy to transition sexually

you need to attract them EARLY when sexual transitions are easier/less socially pressured and you can get to know them afterwards

lots of comfort without attraction = friend zone

its a lot harder for a woman to get sexual with a friend than it is for her to get sexual with an intriguing, high value stranger.

you need to match attraction with comfort, and you need to escalate it quickly. if it takes too long, the extra time knowing you transmutes into more comfort, and again, you get stuck in the friend zone, or at best, the "boyfriend material" zone

i used to do the same thing. comfort galore, minimal attraction. if she was too attracted to me (if she basically wanted my babies in the first 5 seconds) i used to subconciously slow it down long enough for her to start getting comfy (cos i thought it was the right thing to do), and so i found myself in the "boyfriend only" zone many many times as a best case scenario, in which case, you dont let yourself go there for fear of losing the friendship you had developed

I wouldn't call it a defense mechanism, maybe it is just who he is. That is how I was and still am and I'm married now. The girls need time to adjust out of the high school maturity level and actually know that people like this are better for them then the ones that constantley lie to their face just to get action.

But it depends which life you prefer, one of bold truth that makes you a better person, or one where everyone tells you your breath is minty fresh when it smells like the ass of a dog. I respect and like people more when they tell me I'm doing something wrong, because I can correct that action. The people that tell me "Good Job" too me face when it is infact shitty, are absolute pussies.

If he needs just to get laid, then he needs to cut it out, but if he actually wants something with meaning other then busting a nut in someone then don't change. My experience is people seem to respect you more when they know they can count on you to tell them when they are in the wrong.
