1. Preacher curls work the lower biceps
2. Olympic lifts are the only way to get explosive

6. Creatine will make you stronger
7. Don't use heavy weights because you'll bulk up too much
8. Certain exercises will "peak" your biceps
9. Protein is bad for your kidneys

With this other Foxxie stuff, I'm no longer sure who is who and who is an alter

So HB, are you really a female?
To prove you are one, you either need to post a DNA analysis, verified buy the department of Justice, or you have to show us your tits ;)

13. Wear your shitty powerhouse 2 inch leather belt for every exercise

6, 9, and 11 are not myths. Protein is hard on already comprimised kidneys and an excess of protein does place stress on kidneys.

In theory it is a myth
but in practice a lot of people screw their knees while squatting due to an improper form

i think heavy poundages over the years would def not help knees
but you're right, bad form=bad back, knees

More muscle means you're heavier = you can easily become slower

Very true. You can also become faster. It just depends on how much muscle a person gains.

True ask any boxer how much slower they get when they move up a weight class or 2.

I know I was much much faster about 25 lbs of muscle ago.

the creatine one is true
the kidney one is true
the squat one can be true
the slower one is sometimes true (depends)

the "high reps for tone" one drives me bananas though

I've heard that heavy weight lifting WILL stunt growth, or at least not help kids.

I have an 8-year-old and every once in a while I have him mess around with the 10# weights but I am careful not to encourage him to do intense, regular, heavy weight lifting.

LMAO

A few of those are actually correct

I have no idea how it happened but so many people apply #5 and #7 to women especiallly. I actually once had someone tell me I should only be curling like 5 lbs. and doing it for no less than 100 reps or so

Cool stuff... I saw an article on this stuff a while ago. Looks like joined while I was gone and have already dominated me in the post count. Lol...

Someone told my wife that once too, lol. There's this prick at my gym that goes around bothering the women members and filling their head up with this crazy nonsense. He was telling this one girl the other day that all he eats now is cottage cheese and tuna. "Yeah, I'm staying away from the hoagies. You see you can either be big and strong or ripped up and small feeling weak." I had to ask him about bodybuilders who are ripped for a contest but certainly not small. He got mad that I asked that. Then the girl asked too. Of course his answer was steroids.

Oh and he had his big 10lb jug of cell tech with him. Tomorrow if I see him spewing his garbage to any members, I'm going to ask him why he carries that 10lb jug of overpriced creatine around. I'm dying to ask him if he brings it in case he wants to make one for his friends (if he had any!).

Taking anabolics will make your cawk shrink.
