Let's talk about people and how they spend money stupidly? Example, about $7 for a pack of cigs in new jersey but people still won't quit and pay about $200 a month for their addiction that is going to give them cancer. Then there is my friend who spends at least $150 a week on sneakers that he only wears once. To me that is pretty stupid and makes no sense.

I guess it depends on how much expendable income you have. If you have it to spend, why not put it back into the economy? So long as you aren't buying things and then not being able to take care of responsibilities.

I've never come close to making my $$$ back it was just my hobby.

PS is considered one of the best show waxes, but would be hard to justify on a daily driver because of it lacks in durability. Cost about $70 a can.

I've only used a Porter Cable random orbital, no experience with rotaries, mostly with Lake Country pads.

No heavier than any other buffer, but it's a workout to restore paint that's been neglected for years.

I'm not really into detailing like I used to be, only doing my immediate families' cars now.

I use Collinite #845 Insulator Wax which was originally designed for industrial applications, it is arguably the most durable wax lasting up to 6 months per application with insane beading.

BTW, sealants are typically more durable than waxes, e.g. Zaino, Jeff Werkstatt, Klasse, etc ...

I don't hat Zaino, I just didn't care for having to use the whole Z system (including mixing with accelerators). It's still one of the best sealants made and now they're making their system easier.

Though I LOVE a good sale, there isn't all that much that I spend too much on. I don't mind spending top dollar for excellent food/drink, but I also find that the best food is served at little hole-in-the-wall places.

I much rather spend $ on gift items for other people to make them happy especially if that person is too Scottish with themselves. I CAN'T WAIT to spoil my sister BIGTIME. She never spends any money on herself. So I spoil her every chance I get. Also if someone likes an something that I own, I will give it to them without hesitation, unless it is some article that has tremendous sentimental value to me because it was given to me by my husband or my children for example.

Claying shouldn't torture your arms. Use a QD or car wax/water mixture as a lubricant and just use light/moderate passes. You should be able to clay an average size sedan in 15 mintues.

Zaino is now offering more "user friendly" product, e.g. Zaino All-In-One and Clear Seal, I'll prob give them a try at some point, but I have waaaay too much detailing shit now.
