Stupid question... what is a CKD?

CKD stands for Cyclic Ketogenic Diet.

It's a high-fat, moderate-protein, no-carb diet.... it runs on a 7-day cycle, and you cycle your calorie intake and also the ratio of proteins:fats that you eat. The idea is to get your body in a state of ketosis.... which is where you have ketones present in your blood. Being in ketosis, if you don't already know, encourages your body to burn more fat for fuel.
