Though, I'm not certain as to which particular substances to use, or how to inject/feed them. Although, I'm not sure about the mass, they are used quite often to conjure up the bright colors and invoke breeding habits in fish, but it may leave them infertile. I'll keep looking for specifics...

Can you juice up a fish?!?! My fellow gun loving bro that is a strange question to say the least. Happens I do have some advice for you though my dad gets his goldfish looking like they are on roids in his little mudhole he calls a pond it is like the size of a tub. Know how> FEED THE SHIT OUT OF THEM THEY WILL GET BIG!~ No joke have you ever seen a 7mabey 10 inch goldfish? His ass has several of them,but dont feed them to damn much or they will die. I have to go to work now on 3 hours sleep. Hope this helps bro. BTW how much do you know about guns my friend? My dad bought me a 30-30 when I was 11. I love the shit out of them!!!
PS that might not work for bluegill but it sure the fuck worked for the shit in is mud hole

If you are serious, tank size has a lot more to do with growth. My friend is fanatical about fish and has a house full of various tanks. He bought a few of the same kind (don't ask me what kind, I havn't got a clue) and put half of them in one of his tanks and half in his nephews little bowl that he bought him as a starter. A few years later and the ones he has are honestly about 20 times as big. He told me it is due to them being in such a large tank.

I worked at Petsmart for 2 years back in the day and became "fish certified". Its something I'm very proud of . Anyways, Strenghtmonster hit it on the nose. Tank size is the most important for growth. You can have a fish that is 5 inches long in a 20 gal fish tank. Put that same fish in a 75 gallon tank and it will grow to its maximum--whatever that is, could be 20 inches. Get a 55 gallon if you can't afford a 75.
Put 2 or 3 fish in that whole tank and they will GROW. Of course, the more you feed them, the more they grow. Feed them a pinch 3 times a day. Not just a huge pinch once a day.
As for the juice, Petsmart never trained me in that area
