Stupid egg powder question

Please pardon my ignorance here lol
but since they dont sell egg beaters in england, i was wondering about this powdered egg white protein u can get at health food stores. Erm is it just dehydrated egg white so can I mix it with water and voila, egg white? or am I being thick?
