Stupid drug tests

I still cannot fathom why corporations still do such a thing. My last two jobs didn't require one and these are pretty large tech companies. It seems that software companies are a little more liberal when it comes to such a thing. With the abundance of detoxes out there, especially ones like I got that clean you out in 40 minutes, why the hell would a company spend the money on testing when it can be beaten so easily? I mean, the whole purpose of the company is to make money right, or I guess provide a service would be more PC. It's only pot for fucks sake. Why can I get totally blitzed from alcohol which does a helluva lot more damage but pot, no not marijuana..that stuff'll make you go crazy and try even harder drugs...Makes no fucking sense
