About as happy as you are that someday, your President will be Senator Rodham-Clinton, D., from New York.
No, he was serious.

Yea, too bad the only people sacraficing would be law-abiding citizens. All you proposed laws and regulation will do zero to prevent a criminal from getting a gun. So now we have people waiting to get guns thus putting their safety at risk.

You're broadly assuming that owning a gun will necessarily offer safety to Americans that own them...which, is very often, simply not the case.

as long as people still have common sense and if there really is a god, that will never happen.

Tell that to the 1 million plus people who used a gun to deter a criminal from harming them.

I lost my hope for this country when they re-elected WJB Clinton in '96 by a landslide after all the scandals involved with his administration. As Ryan has said, the state of the economy (money) is the primary force in an election.."if it ain't broke..don't fix it" mentality
The continual re-election of Edward Kennedy is another enigma that defies logic so I do not doubt Hilliary Clinton will run for president and have a chance...

Why in the world would Senator Kennedy's continous re-election surprise you when the legendary Senator has been an outspoken defender of civil rights, a defender of Social Security for our nation's elderly, and a crusader for public education so that all of our nation's children can someday contribute to society?
RyanH said:
Please explain to us why a proven leader with an outstanding education, with the experience as Co-President and United States Senator, with the articulation of great leaders such as President Kennedy, would not be good for our nation's policies and our spirit?
Senator Rodham-Clinton has been doing what's right for America for decades now.

Even assuming your numbers are correct, 1 million citizens out of the total percentage of the American population is what percentage? far less than 1 percent I would imagine.

Really, all I can do is laugh.
civil rights- all can live with that. although it is probably more like special rights.
social security- the elderly would have much more money by simply putting the money stolen from them into a simple savings account. Oh thats right, liberals think people are not capable of thinking for themselves.
public education- simply pathetic. keep throwing more and more money and I will watch as more and more kids become less educated. Too bad most parents cannot choose where their kids go to school. Thats right, when the government steals half of you paycheck you no longer have the money to send them to a well respected private school.

He is re-elected because he is a powerful Senator. I would not vote for his re-election due to several factors:
1) He cheated on his Law exams at Harvard? (correct me if Harvard is the wrong school)
2) was caught getting a blowjob under a table of a posh Washington DC restaurant years back
3) MaryJo Koepekne
4) his previous alcoholism
If one can not show common sense and control in his private life in MANY instances (I'll give somebody a second or even a third chance), I am surely not to trust him in trying to look out for the best in mine..

So what's your solution Bocehus? Put the elderly on the streets, leaving them to live with mice and rats, while the young prosper all around them? Or maybe we could take away free meals for impoverished children, and force them to watch other students eat. Or maybe, we can just privatize educatioon and watch the illiteracy rate climb, while other competitive nations, such as China, move ahead of us in technology and science.

Remember, though, it is our civic duty to help those who cannot help themselves.
Goodnight,

OUTCOME: Bill Clinton became President of the United States of America instead.

Hmm. Are talking about immoral acts peformed by the dems (examples), or policies they've endorsed? That's what I was getting at. Cos it seems to me that both of the major parties have pretty sad records in both cases, personally.
