Strip clubs $

If you can not see the difference between going to MacDonald's and going to a restaurant where you are being served by a waiter/waitress/busboy/host or hostess then you truly lack etiquette.

You haven't answered my question.

WHY GO TO A CLUB WHERE THERE ARE DANCERS IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF TIPPING?!

....No one has answered my very simple question. With the exception of VinylGroover.

I've been quoting the famous tip scene from Reservoir Dogs.

What the fuck is degrading about making a living, any way someone chooses to do it. I mean for fuck's sake. The majority of the girls who are involved in the industry would choose not to be involved, but circumstances dictate that they need to earn a living somehow, and if this is it, then who is anybody to judge. A mother who earns money to put food on the table for her children, or to pay the rent, or to pay for her education is the most honourable thing in my opinion, regardless of how she makes that money.

The difference Latimer, is that McDonalds workers or restaurant workers are covered by a minimum wage which guarantees they get paid, no matter what type of service they put in. Many of the dancing clubs don't pay anything to girls other than the tips they get for dancing.

Don't give me that, she don't make enough money she can quit

Cause if you're expecting me to help out with the rent, you're in for a big fuckin surprise.

I usually don't spend too much. We get raped on the drink prices around here, so we load up in the parking lot if we aren't already loaded, then have a few coctails inside to maintain the buzz. Personally, I'd rather use my cash to get some decent tip action going instead of getting taken to the cleaners on the lap dances and the V.I.P. room. I don't go to the titty bars that often though. I usually drop around $50 to $100.

Everything I said beyond this was a quote from Quentin Tarrantino's Reservoir Dogs. It was a scene about tipping waitresses but it played in perfectly to the argument going on in this thread.

YOU STILL HAVEN'T ANSWERED THE QUESTION.

You make it sound as if the dancers ARE BEGGING for you to come in - THEY ARE NOT.

Just be honest. You are hard up and there is no way that you could get a pretty girl with a nice body who would be provocative FOR YOU IN REAL LIFE. Because of this fact YOU HATE ON THE GIRLS WHO "PLAY YOU FOR A DOLLAR".... Oh, wait a sec - you got over on them didn't you? You got to see them in a tiny costume FOR FREE. Yea, YOU SURE SHOWED YOUR MANHOOD TO THOSE WHORES!

Ive been 6 times. I tipped on 4 of the occasions and tipped good.
The reason I went four times is because I knew girls that worked there and needed the money so I went and helped them out, those four girls ended up making about $80 a piece off of me. The other two times I didnt tip because I was there very long, I just got a beer and talked to a couple of friends at the BAR, not the stage, and left.

TO EACH THEIR OWN. BUT THEY DO NOT GET MY RESPECT. Lifter

Nobody said anything about asking for your respect. All I am saying is that you have no right to degrade them.... At least if you had SELF-RESPECT you wouldn't feel the need.

NO ONE HAS TO TIP ME. If a man does not find me appealing or he is just a cheap bastard and turns his head when my stage time is done then HE JUST DID ME A FAVOR because I did not waste my precious time soliciting him FOR A DOLLAR.... there are PLENTY next in line only too happy to tip me.

When I do get tipped (unless the guy is a TOTAL ASSHOLE by trying to pinch me or pull open my costume) I ALWAYS HAVE A WIDE SMILE AND A VERY BIG THANK YOU. As a matter of fact I even bow my head a bit... why? Because I appreciate the fact that he DID TIP ME - HE DID NOT HAVE TO GIVE IT TO ME.

This is all about people treating each other with decency.

If a man goes into a club where women are dancing for their entertainment then he SHOULD tip the dancers that take pride in thier appearance, WHO DANCE and who make them feel welcome. IT REALLY TURNS MY STOMACH TO SEE MEN HOOTING AND SHOWERING A SKANK BECAUSE SHE IS DEGRADING HERSELF.... FOR A DOLLAR.

There are many men who won't even touch the dancers, but put the tip either on the bar or in thier hands..... THAT IS A MAN.

Who said I degrade them? They do that on their own. No they don't drag me into the club my friends usually will. I know whats in the clubs and even if she is the hottest girl on the planet what she's doing makes her the ugliest person I could imagine. Save your preaching for a better argument. We all know that the women who dance for dollars are usually drug addicts, too stupid to get a real job, need approval from the masses because they have extremely low self esteem and many other dysfuntional reasons. So save it for someone who does't understand what morals are Bik Mom. Lifter

Yes, your friends DRAG YOU - LOL. I have yet to have a friend drag me ANYWHERE.

And as for the rest of your sanctimonious banter....

YOU ARE RIGHT.

tee-hee
