does anyone know of a way or if there is a way to get rid of or reduce stretch mark production? ive got them starting just on the inside of my armpitt/upper pec. this definetly sucks! thanx for the help fellas.

not that i have ever heard. tanning can help cover and moisturizing could help a little, but for most of us they are just our battle scars.
foo

Try vitamin e, cocoa butter lotion, mederma cream... and there are some other things worth trying too. If you search you should be able to find a lot of potential remedies.

thats what i figured. thanx foo. but i also heard rubbing cocoa butter on the area will help loosen your skin and help it to stretch more. anyone heard of that?

Yes- best bet is to stay hydrated and use generous amounts of cocao butter/vitamin e cream so that you don't get stretch marks in the first place... or don't have them progress any further.

I have them in the same place you do and since i started using cocoa butter lotion have stopped them from getting any bigger.

I'm with foo on that one they are battle scars signs of sucess. I have had mine since I was about 17. They have never gone away maybe faded alittle:p

You can't really reverse stretch marks, it's permanent scarring of the skin. I take vitamin E daily (actually for general health) and use cocoa butter nearly every day - definitely when I'm on cycle. Like the others said, keeping well hyrdated is also key.

vitamin e helps buy the liquid not the pill and rub it on the stretch mark this will only reduce the redness of the stretch marks it wont make them go away also rubbing retin a on them works real good to.

a friend of mine has them real bad. its ok though cause hes huge. so i realy dont think anyones gonna say anything to him. but it looks like a cat took its claws down his upper chest/armpitt area. really sucks

try coca butter

mederma is good but its expensive. I am using it b4 i go to bed at night. Throughout the rest of the day I use shea butter with vitamin E. They say shea butter is actually better than cocoa butter. I have found that by using the lotions my stretch marks faded faster and became less noticable.

If they are still red get yourself some retin-A and mix it with emu oil. if they have already faded you can go to www.greatmothersgoods.com and order their belly butter/vital body butter. Use it with the emu oil (2-4 times a day) and it will help but they wont go away totally.

Mederma is the best thing you can use for stretch marks. I am currently using it for a scar, and it works great. But like dzuljas said.. its pretty expensive.. about $30 a tube... but hey.. you get what you pay for...

mederma i swear by it after i saw my wifes strech marks after preg and what they look like now difference is incredible if i ever face this problem mederma is deffinatly 1st choice

Laser resurfacing can remove them...

Until you can do afford to do that, try Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E&A Gel, Retin-A, or some of the other mentioned creams/ointments
