what's up? I"ve been under a lot of stress the past month with my job, and have probably lost 7 lbs. MY gear dosages only started to decrease around 1 1/2 weeks ago, so I don;t think its that. Does anyone else have problems with losing weight when under a lot of stress while they are "on"? and what can you do about it?

Increased levels of stress will increase your levels of Cortisol, which can lead to some unpleasant side effects:

* Impaired cognitive performance
* Suppressed thyroid function
* Blood sugar imbalances such as hyperglycemia
* Decreased bone density
* Decrease in muscle tissue
* Higher blood pressure
* Lowered immunity and inflammatory responses in the body, as well as other health consequences
* Increased abdominal fat, which is associated with a greater amount of health problems than fat deposited in other areas of the body. Some of the health problems associated with increased stomach fat are heart attacks, strokes, the development of , higher levels of “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and lower levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL), which can lead to other health problems!

There are lots of ways to reduce stress in your life, whether it be meditation, medication, physical activities, taking a break (vacation/taking some time off).

How are you sleeping? 8 hours a night will help you out also.

Happens to me all the time. It can cost you some serious pounds. Just try to relax, and make sure you eat! Good luck bro.

I think i'm stressing over my upcoming surgery next wed. I just want to get that behind me so I can concentrate on getting into shape to compete in the near future. take care

Mental Performance & Stress control - Dermacrine contains neurosteroids that have been positively correlated to support memory and well-being and manage excessive stress.

stress usually affects weight via 2 mechanisms - the first is to decrease apetite, and the secodn is to make you fidget. a days worth of fidgeting is liek going for a 30 minute run, in energy expenditure (it is. i almost fell over when i read taht). it can also affects sleep.

if anything the logical thing to do is throw a little more chewy protein at the problem
