Streccccch Marks

I developed some stretch marks on lower middle part of my back (bout 7 i nches up from waist) about 6 years ago when I fist started lifting, when I was 15. I have never been overweight and have always been in good shape. However, the stretch marks are still on my back and still a dark pinkish color. They have not seemed to improve and are kind of embarassing for me when i go shirtless in front of girls. I'd like to know if there are any good treatments out there for stretch marks that actually work....like creams or surgery. I have been using Klein-Becker's Stri-vectin for about 2 months now, and I really don't see an improvement. Any suggestions?

You've already done damage to the skin so you can't do much about the actual 'tear marks'. You may be able to see a dermatoligist about lazer surgery to lighten them up.

Yep they have a new surgery, but I think it is pretty expensive!!!

I had mederma that i used for a small scar on my face form a small mole that was removed. It helped and is highly recommended.

try mederma at any pharmacy it is supposed to help scarring more closely resemble skin tone!

laser surgery- it's expensive. other than that vit E oil. i really don't bother though- it draws attention to the fact that i have grown rather fast- my battle scars. i don't find it embarassing.
