How big are your arms? The machines in pharmacies, grocery stores, etc, are designed for "normal" people, arms that are maybe 13in max. Mine are only like 16.5, and are still too big to even fit in the machine. If it's too tight, it'll give a high reading. Also, sometimes readings are just weird. I took my BP last night several times... got like 152/96 once... then 5 minutes later, got 118/76, my normal good BP. I use a wrist BP monitor so that arm size doesn't matter. Get a wrist monitor or have a professional check it, preferably several times throughout the day. One erroneous reading means little. Also, your systolic was high, but your diastolic was quite low... my bet is you just are too big for machine to read right.
