strained knees :s

Not one but two, although the pain is less severe in the left. Thats what my doctor thinks it is.I went to see her today and I'm just awaiting my x-ray results. I'm bummed.

Has anyone strained a knee? if yes, how long did it take to heal well enough to resume your usual training.

if your knee is strained xrays wont show anything...how did it happen? both at the same time is rare. HEaling time depends on many things (age, conditioning, treatment plan, nutritional status, degree of strain) but with that said anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks...degree of strain being most important

My doctor sent me for x-rays just incase. I kinda thought straining both was rare by her initial reaction. I've had mild pain in my knees once in the past, but it just went away after a day or so. I think squats were the cause. During my last workout I went with more weight than I probably should of, to see if I could do it. I've been iceing over the past few days and getting plenty of rest and eating right, so far there feeling alot better.

I'm also wondering if they'al heal up stronger than they were?

This SUUUUUUUUCKS! If I can't at least get some decent cardio time in soon I'm gonna' freakin lose it  Sorry..just ranting.
