Stomach Virus???

I'd really like to know the answer to this one ... I thought that there was NO such thing as a stomach virus, that everytime you get something that involves weird gastric stuff (nausea and/or vomiting and/or diarrhea, sudden onset, not accompanied by fever, chills, sweating or any other obvious signs of infection), it was ALWAYS some form of food poisoning.

Is there such a thing as a stomach virus?

Yes, you can get a stomach virus. Real actual food poisoning is FAR worse than a stomach virus.There is also bacterial infection... like diverticulitis, an infection/inflamation that affect the lining of the intestins, it's painful.
