idk but ever since im eating a lot my stomach will get upset every other day. im taking pepto and it fixes the problem for a short period of time. however, i dont like taking that much medicines. so are there any natural cures out there?

You have only noticed this since you have begun to eat more? I know this will sound silly but perhaps it would be better for you if you didn't overfill your stomach.

Ginger root will aid with digestion.

yea it started when i started eating a lot. but im not overfilling my stomach im eating till im moderatly full. i also read that if i drink lemon water before my meal it would help. is that true?

Dunno bout lemon water but if you are noticing symptoms of indigestion from eating a lot then it might be better to cut back a bit, no?

I never could eat enough to put on enough mass to be truly competitive. Just listen to your body. If your stomach can not handle all the food, then it would seem to make sense to cut back. Or perhaps there are some foods that you have trouble digesting but you never noticed because of the quantity of food? Do you consume a lot of dairy? Many of the protein drinks can also cause a tremendous amount of digestive distress.

lemon water?

like lemons + water?

so, lemons help an upset stomach supposedly?

Lemons are extremely acidic. How does that help an upset stomach? If anything, it would make it worse.

I would steer clear of that lemon water, as I cannot see it helping at all..Not a single bit!

As far as what Bikinimom advised, I would listen, do not overfill your stomach. If you are uncomfortable as a result of eating more frequently or larger portions than that means that you are over doing it. Your stomach is not the size of your waist, and is not meant to hold thanksgiving meals daily! I would also ease off of the pepto as too much of that is not a good thing.
If you notice that you are only feeling this way after eating large amounts than that is probably the problem, however if you are noticing this after small meals than I would seek a GI doctor as the possibility of having stomach ulcers is large.
If you feel as though not eating large meals will some how hold back gains or anything like that and you do not want to stop the eating than the only other suggestion would be to take zantac or another over the counter brand of acid medication prior to eating the meal (or as directed on package) and also leaving some room in your stomach and drinking some milk to help coat your stomach along with the added support from the acid medication.
