Hey whats up, just had a quick question for you guys. i've tried different kinds of protein shakes with milk and with water and they kill my stomach, any suggestions on protein supplements that are easy on the stomach, thanks.

You should probably be ok with Isopure if you are possibly lactose intolerant. Isopure claims since their protein is an isolate it does not have any lactose. Just keep in mind isolate is more expensive, quicker digesting, and generally higher quality.

Thanks Zap, I'm gonna try that, but as far a lactose intolerence, i've taken them with water too, and I eat ice cream, and cheese ect.. with no problem.

I had that same problem with protein drinks killing my gut. The worst was muscletech. Since then I have used with no problems: Pinnacle Juiced Protien, Designer whey and MaxPro. Although I doubt the maxpro is very good quality. Pinnacle is best.

Add probiotics...

Don't rob your body of quality protein by consuming some overly hyped cheap protein powder just because it works with your stomach.

Try introducing digestive enzymes to your regiment, just add them into your protein shakes. These enzymes will not only promote intestinal health, but they also help protein assimilation and can aid with breaking down the nasty by-products of protein synthesis.

You could always try a protein that already contains digestive organisms (acidophillis, bifidus, yogurt...) like Dorian Yates Pro-Peptide or V3S Vitapro.

Don't forget the ginger root! It's super cheap, you can buy it in capsules just about anywhere, and it really helps with the bloating, gas, etc...

Ginger may help you. Small amounts of aloe vera juice are good for the stomach. Try taking the protein with soy milk or water. I used to take them with skin milk and that tore me up. You could also look into soy protein, but from what I saw it was significantly more expensive, but that was just one store.
