Stomach heaviness after protein

After taking my protein shakes I feel heaviness on mystomach. It is not pain, but feels like I have bricks in the stomach. Can it be because I put in there also creatine, bcaa and fiber?

Maybe. Depending on how much fibre it can and often does swell up. It'd do that whether it was a glass of water or a protein drink. How much are you taking and why?

I never take it because there's enough in my morning cereal. My mum does cos here diet is awful and if she doesn't she gets constipated.

Most probably your whey protein product is made with whey concentrate, which has lots of lactose in it. Lactose will cause stomach issues for many people, and it seems like you are one of those. Therefore, you need to find a protein product that will be made 100% with whey isolate, which is the purest form of whey protein, as it has no lactose in it. For instance, Wheytobuildmuslce by N2BM only has the isolate, and there are no additives at all, so it is as stomach friendly as it gets.

I don't think your digestive issues are from the creatine, BCAA or fiber. I think it's most likely a lactose issue.

I know myself personally that if I consume any milk products or a protein supplement that contains lactose, it absolutely destroys my stomach.

You can still use a protein supplement but it has to be a PURE whey isolate.

There are two main types of whey protein available: a whey protein isolate and a whey protein concentrate. The problem with a whey protein concentrate is that it will contain a few grams of lactose (the milk sugar naturally occurring in dairy products) per serving. The majority of adult humans have a lactosesensitivity which can cause GI issues like gas, bloating and diarrhea. A whey protein isolate on the other hand is essentially pure protein and will have only trace amounts of lactose.

It is either from the protein being a concentrate or low quality product or just the amount of volume you are putting in your stomach. If it bothers you then just stop using protein shakes and replace with whole food.
