Translation:

Nas had (see had, it's hard to keep tabs on that friggin guy nowadays) the decency to begin fading away when his shit was wack for a while. Jay Z does not have that decency.

And I'm not one of those hip hop fans that calls anyone who "makes" it a sellout. but Jay Z's music is just shit now. He's on the radio more and more everyday doing those cheesy ass duets with dime a dozen R&B chicks (not talking about Mary here). It's sad to see a once hip-hop great in that condition.

taking into consideration my whiteboy pasture land upbringing, i've never heard a nas album i liked besides illmatic.
jay has at least 3 albums that get rotation in my sony sports walkman.

In my mind, if you're in the majority in terms of music taste, then most likely it's wack. To each his own, but I take that as a compliment.

I've listed people I listen to many times here. Mostly underground stuff. I don't give a shit how many platinum records anyone has - people are sheep, they will listen to whatever everyone else is listening to...ESPECIALLY in the hood and in suburban highschools.

I didn't say Jay "is" wack. I said his recent music and fucking no-meaning duets with his girlfriend are soul-less and drivel.
