yes it does. It takes away as much as 110% of your karmic power if you choose it.

Also, if he's not plat, then redding him will give him a little black bomb under his name.

i don't think the negative karma will take any away from yours, but you'd have to test it.
(you can test it on me if you want)

doesnt take away from your karma. only the person getting the red or bomb if non-plat.

I'll test in a little while: You must spread some Karma around before giving it to stilleto again.
 
I'll use alcatraz as a test subject since I have given him karma in the past.

I currently have 140844 and I am going to give him a negative karma hit.

it doesnt take any karma from your karma....just from his...however, there is no transfer of karma...the karma just disappears

I am not sure but I also believe COTB k hits do not come out of your own karma like regular members. Also when COTB gives out a platinum G-bomb it cannot be diffused. :)

COTB / mods / admins - all give bombs that cannot be diffused

If I spend 40K on bombs I think it would be nice to see them down 40K at the very least. They need to rework the karma bomb system so a nice balance can be achieved. I always thought it took away karma.

When I get my karmas out of bonds I am simply going to disagree with all of his posts and after 10 disagreements he will be red. There is power in this if people get together :)

I do not know. I bombed him probably around 1pm. We will know in due time. My bet is they do not. The code for that would be a bit complex and I bet the system starts the 12 hours from the time the bomb is dropped.

youcan also give karma to someone twice in one day, and the second time onlt after you have given karma to 14 other people, this includes agree/disagree

The 12 hrs will be from the time the last bomb was dropped.

I disagree
the system is close to as it should be
it designed so a heavyweight can punish
but not wipe out so easy

you need about 20 million to pack a 5000 karma punch
you could
a) negative karma hit them for 5000 if they're non-plat they're stuck with a bomb icon
b)or spend the cash to blackout-I don't even know the price for that as I don't do it

and you can do both

I kinda miss carrying the bombs around
back when they were tuning the system I had thirteen bombs at one point (tied for the record)
when I was non-plat
