Stiff knees after squatting, anyone else?

My last couple leg days I have seen some stiffness in my knees after squats especially and I dont know what the deal is.

I think my form is pretty good - keeping the weight on my heels, head up, but out, back in alignment etc. I have been squatting for ~5 years and never had had this problem before.

Does anyone get this same problem, or have any speculation?
 
Has the weight been increasing? I have been getting a slight sorness in my knees during workouts lately. I think its from adding more weight.

this is what i do before legs.. I do about 5 minute on the bike, and then stretch for a little.. then i use my fingers and massage around my knee to loosen up the tendons and shit.
Try that out.. Good Luck!

yeah I have been hitting squats really hard lately and going up in weight. I will try some more stretching and maybe try the cardio idea to loosen things up.
 
yea I have the same problem it is called getting old,,,, LOL
 
ever since I turned 20 a couple weeks ago everything's just been going down hill, gonna have to start supplementing joint support.

lol...20???......I thought the same thing....wait till 25.......I got 30 in 2 years and already got my electric wheel chair picked out......

Serious note, are you doing a lot of treadmill or running work? That KILLS my knees for squats...........

no cardio at this moment.

Hahah, the turning 20 comment was a joke, I seem to be doing fine, with no joint pains or anything. I was just wondering about the knee thing because its kind of weird, out of the ordinary for me.
