Hi!

I dont read alot of facial changes when useing steroids so i thought of asking here what does actully happens to your faces? I know of acne and baldness that i read everywhere. But what about craniofacial changes such as increased jaw growth, is that perhaps what happend too arnold(spaceing between teeths)!?

Hell no. Steroids dont manipulate your bone structure.

Growth Hormone obviously can cause this, which all of us know, but is'nt really classed as a steroid. I've not heard of anyone who has experienced this from steroids alone though, in fact i've never heard of this ever. I would say the most powerful side from roids would be stunted growth, and then would only be relevant somebody in their teens who may still be growing. I started my first cycle when i was 17, and i have'nt grown in height since. (20 and still standing at 5' 10'') I believe this is probably the reason as my father is 6' 2''.

i haven't grown higher than 5-8 1/2 since I was 19. so i don't know if you can definitely blame your growth on your father, probably got it from someone else in the fam.

No, i was blaming it on the gear. Steroids stunt growth, right, and since 17 I have'nt grown an inch. This may just be the genetics i have but then again, if i had'nt touched any gear, will i have grown to my fathers height?

Yes thats what i meant, in some women who use steroids u cant actully see it in their face. Perhaps because of the water retention and thicker skin, even seen in men though. But femal steroid users also develop more male characteristics because of testosteron influence such as mandible/jaw growth. Maybe male steroid users are not affected that much/ or not at all because we have always had some testosterone in our veins and have developed our jaw too the maximum. Just a thougt anyway i wouldnt mind that side effect looking like the hulk execept the green color

Simple! Women do not have naturally high levels of Test in their bodies. Large or larger amounts of a male hormone being pumped into a female, will cause problems. of course it wil.

And yes almost all steroids closes your epiphys as far as I know the execption is oxandrolone i think. That mean you stop growing though u can experience a short boost in your lenth growing before closure.

look in your face you have like a zilloin musles. roids make any muscle grow; what do you think happens when you chew, smile, talk, yawn... you flex SOME muscle in your face. this causes you to GROW. when you see a guy whos face looks like a pit bull youll know what i mean. of corse this has many variations according to what gear you use, and what you already look like. as far as bone growth... im not sure. but it is not normal to be able to chew iron. as afr as stunted growth.... well i can see it very clearly in people. im 17 and im taller than some 40 yr olds who used gear when they were my age. Its just one of the prices you pay.

no...steroids wont make your face fatter..that comment was just ignorant...
estrogen/sodium/water retention will make your face appear "puffier"...actual cranial enlargement can come over time with gh although this is individual sensitive. Cranial enlargement with prolonged steroid use/muscle growth is a possibility i feel, but again, does not happen to everyone. Look at ronnie when he was 296 on stage..then again before his steroid use when he was 220ish..youll see what i mean. Same with markus rulh....his facial structure is much larger now even then when he was 230 shredded...and 198 shredded..etc etc. I feel in more than half this will gradually happen with steroid use/muscle gain. Look at natural bodybuilders with alot of muscle..most actually have a natural looking face and normal cranial bone size...steroid use can and most likely will change that but the extent to how much is individual sensitive ...this is all my .02...feel free to think differently though..

Well ANYONE who saw the show She So Large I think was the name of it on learnig channel about the olympia lady pro will definetly beleive in a HUGE
difference in these broads faces. They showed some of the woman when they were fittness junkies and there was a night and day difference. It wasnt bloat either cause they were the same at contest condition. I too beleive
its the face muscles not the bones cause some have went the other way from

When I'm on cycle I notice that my skin is a little thicker and rougher. I also get jaw pumps, and some of my facial muscles have grown which subtly affects my face's appearance.

I wouldnt be suprised if Tito ortiz were/is useing HGH since his head is really big though havent been able too find any pictures of him before his HGH use. Has he even confirmed useing that? Looking at Tito Iam not 100% convinced his been useing HGH except looking at his face, he got a huge mandible. Though his hands are fairly small and so are his feet. Face feet and hands are usally affected by HGH use. Have a look at Jay Cutler whom Iam rather sure has been useing HGH. He got that same big jaw as Tito but his hands are really big and so are his feet. So I come too think Tito is as said born that way.

this is a really smart post. not sure if true but makes sense. if your body muscles grow why wouldnt your facial muscles while on test/AAS? i think this is a good thing if you are a guy. we all want to look rough and tough.

speaking of arnold, i remember seeing terminator 2 when he was at the peak of his handsomeness and movie career, and thinking that even his FACE was muscular.

maybe steroids do give you a different look in the face...and i am not talking about bloat. if women use AAS take on that hard, masculinized look from AAS use why wouldnt men take on a HARDER, more masculine look?
