Can someone post some documentation on this? I have read that infertility is temporary and with a proper PCT one will regain normal functions within 3 months of discontinuing AAS. I was just wondering if anyone could show some research or any other article about this topic?

Thanks in advance.

Can the use of steroids for body building cause infertility?

Yes. Steroids taken either by mouth or injection can shut down the production of hormones needed for sperm production.

- Keep in mind it say's "may", as far as I know there have been numerous bro's on and off cycles that have had no problems reproducing...

AS doesn't shut down enough men to be considered a reliable contraceptive. That according to two seperate, large scale, studies done by the World Health Organization. Regardless, the answer is that even if it inhibits FSH enough to stop your sperm production you can easily restore it in almost all cases within a few months. Most men regain their FSH production only a few weeks after beginning PCT.

Thanks for the input to all. Always something to consider when taking gear.

Just do some Yahoo searches with keywords: male testosterone contraception.

You will find out that it takes more than a year, of CONTINUOUS testosterone use for the sperm count to become too low, to be considered sterile.
And even that way the sperm count gets low, but doesnt get to zero.

If you are worried if you can't have kids ever again after using steroids, than you should be ok. It could happen after one cycle, but that usually doesn't happen. Most people bounce right back after a few weeks.
