steroids and bodyfat

how low should a person try to get is bodyfat level to before he starts a steroid cycle for a bodybuilder not a powerlifter . thanks for your help.
 
your going to get a billion different people telling you to get 10-20%ish...its up to you though man.

very true...but on the other end of the spectrum, the extra muscle you put on really helped me lose more bodyfat when i hit a hard plateau...im the same weight I was before my cycle..but a lot less fat..
 
I would say 10-14% bf. If it's higher than that you will huff and puff all the time. I feel that keeping my bf in this range my body is more efficient at recovery and have a little more room to grow a little fat if I go heavy androgenic.
 
I would personally recommend gettin under 15%. Otherwise you just look like a larger version of your current self.
 
id say no more than 25% at that point it becomes unhealhy due to high blood preasure and stuff. but ever cycle leans me out more than the last, so if I was to cut, id just go on a cycle.
 
Gear can bring form the point of being a fat ass to a mega man

but you better have your diet, AI management and training PERFECT other wise you could get EVEN fatter.

Nah, Im gonna have to disagree on that man. Granted Im no "expert" here. But when I did my first cycle, which was Deca and Dbol approx 400-500mg ew on the Deca, and 20-50 mg ed on the dbol , whole cycle lasted for about 8-9 weeks. When I started i was a flabby and soft 215 , not sure the body fat but was prob pretty high as Im only 5' 10", anyways, after the cycle I was a pretty lean and solid looking 205. Granted i woulda looked better had i started at under 10 % BF, but I gained alot of muscle and lost alot of fat, competely changed my look and body comp. So that statement doesnt ring true in my experience. Not steppin on toes or anything bro, just speaking from personal experience here. Now I also didnt eat as much as i should have to get a few more pounds of muscle out of the cycle, and since im in Iraq relied heavily on protein shakes to supplement meals, but i lost ALOT of fat and made good gains at the same time! Prob has to do alot with your choice of compounds as well....

If you were eating to gain more, the fat lose would have been minimal. Not all cycles you lose fat, depending on the calories consumed. Deca in many cases is a cutting steroid depending on the mix. You prob did not eat much and pretty much cut which is ok, but in a heavy androgenic cycle you will put some fat on along with a shiet load of muscle :)
Been there done that! 15% or less is ideal IMO to cycle a cutter or bulk. It all depends on the goal and compounds used.

When I'm bulking, I need to start at 18-20% or I have a rough time putting on mass early on. When cutting, I start at 12-14 %. It works differntly for most folks. Learn your body.
