Steroids and anesthesia

Is there a certain amount that I can still be on and go under the knife? I have been on without going off for a a long time now (it was the plan). What steroid amount would keep me at reg. test levels for the surgery? I am crusing right now at 500 mg a week, but could easily drop it down to 250, 200, 100 w/e.

Based upon personal experience I would complete my PCT, and go off for as long as possible before any anesthesia.

If you are on Test E be off 5-6 weeks prior to surgery.

ulter youve got to be a rich man by now, you just expect everyone to have aifm? ever time i see your posts i just see you raking in the cash with a new product

In 1994 I was kickboxing alot and I was on 250 test 250 sust and ruptured a disc in my back. I told my surgeon about my cycle and he made me wait to go under because of the fear of a heart attack during the surgery. They use sodium Penathol to put you to sleep and Im not sure if it reacts or not however I would finish asap and run your pc before going forward., I hope that helps

Just check your blood pressure. If it's good, then you're good. Otherwise drop your dose or up your AIFM.

Ya my bp is in check, I allways keep it in check though so I should be totally fine? (i plan on dropping to 250mg ew anyways, Iwont need 500 mgs)

I think when they say steroids and anesthesia, they are talking about corticosteroids, not anabolics. I had ACL reconstruction, and Carpal tunnal surgery while on, no adverse rx's here. I kept that info private to myself in fear of insurance problems, i wouldn't worry. Probably more myth then truth there.

I go in for hernia surgery next month and I stopped my cycle two weeks ago and I am staying off gear until I am fully recovered. My BP has been fine but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Good luck!
